Is my music not good enough or am I just bad at marketing it?

- Historically, when I'm ready to release new music, I'll dump it on Spotify, post about it once or twice on Instagram, then kick my feet up and let Jesus take the wheel from there.
When this tactic DOESN'T bring me viral fame, I'll just throw my hands up and say, "f**k it, who needs it! My music should speak for itself. If it's good enough the people will come. Clearly it's not good enough."
This year I'm breaking myself of this mentality and taking matters into my own hands. I have a full length album ready to be set loose, I'm extremely proud of what I've created, and I'm gonna see what kind of difference I can make for myself by applying actual marketing strategies and creative advertising to my music career.

Thanks!! In both instances the FB ads were of the full vids, but on IG just one minute clips. I do think the clips I chose had a big impact on IG performance.
