How to install a Used Safety Swimming Pool Fence

- Here is how to put up your own safety fence for your swimming pool. I bought a used fence from Facebook Market Place for $400 and installed it myself. The regular cost of buying a new pool fence and getting it professionally install would be about $4000. I bought the necessary missing parts for it (Safety Sleeves) and drill bit to cut the holes on concrete and it cost me about $600 in total.
Here are the parts that I had to buy:
Pool Fence Replacement Safety Sleeve and Cap:
amz.run/3ENV
5/8-Inch by 16-Inch by 18-Inch SDS Plus Hammer Bit:
amz.run/3ENW - Навчання та стиль
Thank you for posting this. I will start working on mines tomorrow. Just went out and got all the proper tools. And yes, thanks to you I got a proper concrete hammer tool. Don’t want to spend to much time in the Florida sun.
yes, the proper hammer drill is worth getting. Save time and frustration!

Is this fence strong?
Pool cover looks amazing. Where can I buy?
You can contact your local pool supply store to order the right size.
Thank you
Do you know the brand of the fence you bought? Am considering vevor. I looks like it might be vevor diy fencing
It’s a Costway version
I'm confused with some videos saying that some holes need to be drilled in on an angle. Is that accurate or can I just drill straight done to make it easier
Drill straight down.
I just installed one yesterday. The angles are meant to increase tension. Mine came with a guide to us along with the rotary hammer/hammer drill.
I made the mistake of not angling in all the place sI should have, so I got some areas looser than others.
On a curved line you drill at an outward angle so when you pull tight it makes the fabric taut at the half circle.

Danny Jose could help which size drill bit use to drill
I used a 5/8-inch drill bit.
Grandson?! How old are you??! You look great!! Thanks for the video...will be doing this on my own :)
glad the video helped! thank you for commenting! I actually have 3 grand children….and I’m over 50. must be the Asian blood :-) Anyway have a great rest of the weekend.
Forgot to mention, if you don’t mine, please subscribe to support my channel. Thanks!
I wish I would have seen this earlier my 11 year old dog drown this weekend and we had the fence just had not installed it
so sorry to hear about your dog.
U made it inside out
Oh boy :-/….i figured with the hook and latch in the inside, the kids couldn’t easily reach it.
Your drill is called a hammer drill,,, your neighbors’ drill is what’s called a Rotary Drill which is why it was much easier😊
good to know! thanks for clarifying!
That fence is installed backwards. It's inside out. Thats why you hire a professional.
thanks for the tip but I’ve had this fence up for over 3 years with no issues. Not sure it makes a difference which way it’s put up. Anyway, it cost me less then $500, which is a significant cost savings vs buying new and getting a professional to install it.
thanks for the video but you need to get your teeth fixed
Glad the video helped. Have a great rest of the week.
