My gate is a mesh/metal one that you lift the top up and turn the key to either lock it or open it. My problem is I cannot take the key out. Is it not supposed to be removable? My realtor is showing the house and I left instructions for no one to go inside the fencing and a guy walked in there today like he owned the place. I don't want liability. Not sure what to do...other than stay here and babysit the place during Open Houses...which is NOT MY JOB. Advice?
You tried selling your house without letting people inside the pool gate? The dude walking around like he owned the place was probably checking to make sure the house was in good condition b4 dropping presumably hundreds of thousands of dollars.
noooooooooooo - this would have to be the most unsafe safety fence ever! - The gate poles have plates for children to climb - the mesh can be cut with a knife - or distorted with enough force! - I cannot believe that the US does not have standards that make fences like this illegal!

Crescent wrenches should be illegal. They strip bolts. They're fine for low torque application but for something like this use a real socket wrench.
