Interesting! my kid is 2 years old and weighs 35lbs. Just simply applying laws of physics, he will apply more than 45lbs of foce if he RAN into the fence. it's a good idea. i like the use of fiberglass reinforced resin. I use those for making a cello case and they are heavier than carbon reinforced but very strong and economical. i like the idea!
...but, how long does the fiberglass post last? I've seen fiberglass post around pools deteriorate?
Maybe not have a guy with a Protect a Child shirt doing the test it would be more believable. As it is now its a joke. Also why not have the full 4 inches that go into the ground? Not the 2 inches they show.
