The Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed by a pile of food and put his hand into it, and his fingers touched something wet. He said, “What is this, O seller of the food?” The man said, “It got rained on, O Messenger of Allaah.” He said, “Why did you not put it (the wet part) on top of the pile so that the people could see it? He who deceives does not belong to me.” According to other reports, “He who deceives us is not one of us,” or, “He is not one of us who deceives us.” (Narrated by Muslim).👌💯

When I first clicked this video I was expecting someone to start a passionate angry rant about how all the ills we have experienced is because of either our financial system/immorality/we are failing as Muslims but alhamdullillah I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of intellect, historical awareness, ability to cite appropriate references and good advice offered in this video. May Allah reward you! One question, you mentioned we should go back to banking basics of "taking deposits and lending those out for profit", isn't that riba?
Assalamualaikum...Jazak Allah khairan brother..I feel like crying hearing you especially from 1st few words till the landlord part..Masha Allah you are soooo right..I feel suffocated in this world in spite trying my best to get closer to Allah in order to achieve paradise but my environment is such that sometimes it's sooooo difficult to reason them with words Allah sent to humanity as guidance.
Having a khilafah is very important which provides protection and support for the muslim ummah when in need. Our brothers around the ummah would be protected via a khaleef but the ummah needs to be united so we can protect our brothers and sisters. Our last khilafah was the ottomans back on 1924 sadly.

I think you would love to read a book that was recently published: 'The Dead Pledge' by Judge John Glock (2021) - it is eye-opening and exposes the relation between commercial banks, mortgage and the modern financial system - and it traces back to the economics of Adam Smith in Scotland. i recently learnt from a Scottish girl that their cash notes join together to form a shield - it is no coincidence and simple fancy work of art, it is symbolic. All the shuyukh need to all speak up a d say exactly the same thing as you. The muslims need to stop being part of the problem and start fearing the meeting of Allah because the money they chased and were greedy for will certainly be the cause of their downfall. Jzk dear brother.

If you're muslim you shouldn't said that Yasmine , Allah SWT give whom he will whether they have free houses or food even though in USA nothing is, free if government help poor people paid rent is temporary, refugees and immigrants, and i sure we are all immigrants,so don't said they get this they get that , the reason government help because their income is low ,some are widows with kids ,some are singles mothers or fathers , some don't have education and they are on low wages, you don't know their circumstances ,we have to pray for everyone for easy basic life, this hard time.

I think it should be mentioned how wives who work should help their husbands financially to run a household if needed instead of keeping their money and constantly relying on their husbands for material things that they could easily purchase with their own salary. A lot of imams keep reinforcing this idea to the detriment of a happy, comfortable household. Cost of living crisis has made it all too clear that the husbands salary will only go so much. I personally have had to take on two jobs to just keep up. Mortgage payment, council tax, bills etc literally take up all I earn and I don't get any support because it's "husbands duty to provide". I can easily see brothers getting into debt or worse if things get more financially difficult.
selam, i have a question. idk if the muslims payed taxes in the time of our prophet, but they payed zakah because its a duty of islam to help the poor and stabilize society. but now in some counties you pay taxes, which stablelizes its society and pay the living costs for those without a job. So is the zakah actually included in this for a muslim? or do u have to pay additional 2,5% of ur income as zakah? isnt it a double zakah? and in that case, all muslims living in those countries actually payed their zakah every month of their lives, which is very relieving isnt it? so in this case, all ur donations would count as extra for special rewards from Allah. but i need to know this and we as muslims need to clearify and verify this in its real truth. no lies to increase the amount of donations, because every lie darkens a heart and damages islam.
No Zakah is obligatory, and has rules for collecting and distribution. taxes are not Zakah

@@yu-yu704 how do u know? If they had no taxes back then but only zakah, then its pretty clear that zakah is included in taxes, if the goverment takes care about the poor, sick and ppl without jobs.

also it’s totally different there are rules that need to be carried out that are not done in taxes.
