My father got stroke and he's disable for 6yrs now and my mom is suffering from pneumonia. I got to witnessed her coughing lot of bloods last new year. We're so poor that my mom had to worked full time even if she was very sick. We used to be in middle class but Allah tested us by taking away our wealth and making us suffered from our health. We feel left behind in our neighboorhood cause everyone's is upgrading their own house while us haven't changed a bit since we first got here. We also the only one who don't own a car it's pretty tough but Alhamdulillah we're all still together even though that we have this kind of financial problems.
May Allah forgive all of our past, present, and future sins, Ameen.

Allahuakbar, Subhan Allah, what a great lecture, very inspirational, I never want to be rich in life of money because I don't want to feel full of it, I want to work and earn in a halal way and appreciate the medium way of life, not the strict cheap skate life, nor the high wealthy exalted and boastful life, but a medium way.
I'm an atheist interested in the qustion what I can do against fear of poverty. I'm surprised that my first resarch results are religious content and I'm looking forward to find out too what science has to say.
I'm really not into religion, but this speech of his is really great. :)

On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said, ” Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter."

Assalamualaikum.
Importance of Salah to increase Imaan (Faith) and Striking balance between this Life and Hereafter:
First of all you will need to know who your Lord is and what is your purpose here in this world. Make sincere dua to Allah to guide you. Salah acts as a special connection between you and Allah (S.W.T). It is compulsory act of worship that must be performed by Muslims no matter what.
Wherever you are start the prayer whether it is Fajr, Dhudhr, Asr, Magrib or Isha time.
Sometimes we find people working for this worldly life and pretend to have forgotten that one day they will die and be brought to account.
It is the life in the hereafter which is the true and far better life, and hence, our conduct in this life will determine our status in the life in the hereafter.
“And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the house in the hereafter for those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious). Will you not then understand?”
(Quran, Al-An’aam: 32)
But Shaitan has make this world look so beautiful in your eyes that you donot see the truth.
Allah says: “Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip there from (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: “Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time”
(Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah: 36)
“and an enjoyment for a time” is what Satan makes the most of. So in times of Salah give its fair share of time and donot indulge in other things. When there is call of Azan try to leave the work or complete the work before Azan. Donot forget you are Muslim (one who submits to One Allah).
Then there are others who do great deeds with the Hereafter in mind, but completely neglect their financial and familial responsibilities.
Allah says:
“O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things Allah has made lawful to you. But commit no excess, for Allah does not like those given to excess. Eat of the things which Allah has provided you, lawful and good, but fear Allah, in whom you believe”’ (Quran, Surah Al Maedah: 87-88).
A man once asked the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), “Do you think that if I only perform the obligatory prayers, fast the whole month of Ramadan, treat as lawful that which is lawful and treat as forbidden that which is forbidden, and do nothing further, shall I enter paradise?
He (pbuh) replied, “Yes!” (Muslim)
In fact, our prophet (pbuh) resisted any tendency towards religious excessiveness. He once said to his close companion Abdullah ibn ‘Amr:
“Have I heard right that you fast every day and stand in prayer all night?”
Abdullah replied:
“Yes, O Messenger of Allah”
The Prophet (pbuh) said:
“Do not do that. Fast, as well as, eat and drink. Stand in prayer, as well as, sleep. This is because your body has a right upon you, your eyes have a right upon you, your wife has a right upon you, and your guest has a right upon you.” (Al-Bukhari, 127).
So it is important to strike a balance between this life and the Hereafter. So this life should not effect our prayers and other obligation.
Allah is our Creator and He proportioned us. Creator of this Earth and other planets and Stars. Creator of this milky way galaxy where our Earth exist where millions of stars shine and thousands of celestial object exist. Creator of All millions and millions of galaxies and all of that exist in this Heaven and All the Sevens Heavens that we don't know. The point is we should not be messing in His land while forget that what is right or wrong. We are His creation it is us who walk and do what we want, all of our needs comes from Him. He is our Lord and we need Him therefore we should thank Him, ask for His help in every matter and praise Him the most. The best way to We should turn to Him is Salah which Allah has made compulsory upon us. We should be so much thankful to Allah that He has granted us this opportunity to turn to Him daily.
Starting with fajr. Set an alarm according to your area. If you have smartphone. There are many options that you can use to wakeup for fajr. Make good use of it and download any azan app from google playstore or any other online store. You can set atleast 3 alarms then put the mobile or alarm clock as far from your bed so you have to close the alarm. This will wake you up. Why i start with fajr because it is the most blessed prayer and will cause of Barakah in every aspect of your life.
Allah says in the Quran: "So establish the Prayer after the declining of the sun to the dusk of night and the [Quranic] recitation of Fajr [prayer]. Indeed, the [Quranic] recitation of Fajr is witnessed". [al-Quran 17:78].
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said: The Messenger of Allah said: "The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the ‘Isha’ prayer and the Fajr prayer. If only they knew what (reward) there is in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl". [ibn Majah].
Try to recite some verses of Quran and if you read and understand the translation then it will be great. After fajr prayer make dua sincerely to Allah (God) that He guide you and if you strive in Allah cause He will surely guide you. Pray each Salah (Dhudhr, Asr, Magrib, Isha). After each Salah make Dua beautifully. After each Salah recite Ayat ul Kursi and Durood Ibrahim.
Try and understand Surah Fatihah then Surah Ikhlas, Naas, Falaq, Kafirun, and all the other Surahs that you remember easily.
The most common thing happens that whenever one who is praying punctually and doing good deeds thinks that i am pious donot ever think like that.
Allah says: “..So ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who fears Allah and keep his duty to Him [i.e. those who are Al-Muttaqun (pious)].”
(Quran, Surah An-Najm: 32)
Satan (Shaitan) was also proud when Allah ordered him to prostrate Adam A.S. but he didn't prostrated. Allah says in the Quran: “….And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah)”
(Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah: 34)
Satan’s arrogance - reinforced by his false logic, and jealousy - prevented him from obeying Allah’s command. As Allah tells us in the Quran, Satan said,
“I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay”
(Quran, Surah Al-Aaraf: 12).
Iblis was so pious that his status was raised among angels. But due to his pride Allah put him amongst the disbelievers. So remember not be proud whether you are following religion or not. But always be humble to Allah and pray for forgiveness.
Treat every human being with love and peace. If one is not remembering Allah and not fulfilling their duties or is weak in imaan. Then guide him peacefully and pray to Allah that He may guide them and be positive.
Salah prevents one from doing bad things. Allh says: "Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and perform the Salah. Verily, the Salah prevents from Al-Fahsha’ (immoral sins) and Al-Munkar (evil deeds) and the remembering (praising) of Allah is greater indeed. And Allah knows what you do.”
(Quran, Surah Al-Ankaboot: 45)
If you don't notice any change in your life then there is something wrong with your prayer. Try to focus in your prayer. Remember what you are saying and that you are standing in front of Allah and He knows what you are saying. As He is All Hearer and All Knower.
Another important thing is that you will be tested in this life especially to believers. Allah will test accordingly. If you remain steadfast in that test you will be successful in this life and the Hereafter. The more He tests you it will mean that He loves you more. So during times of difficulty pray Allah to forgive and give Sabr to you.
The last piece of advise read and understand the Quran because Allah have revealed this beautiful Book to us (Human beings) and its all crystal clear. Every human being have been given clear truth message. Now its upon us we read Quran, understand and implement it in our daily lives so that we may become successful in this life and on the Day of Judgement when Allah will reward or punish us according to our deeds.
Allah (S.W.T.) describes that Day in what could be translated as, "On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil."
(Quran, Surat Al-Imran: 30)
Allah has given us brains that we use daily and we use our common sense that what is sensible thing for us for such matters. So does it makes sense that we should neglect and forget our Salah and other compulsory deeds and responsibilities when our life is so short. When someone was 18 years some years ago and now their age is 30. People talk with each other and they say that wow these years have gone so fast. We cannot hide from truth that we do know this life is too short to forget our Salah and other pillars of Islam. This life is too short to find a reason to hate each other but do find reasons to care and forgive each other so that Allah may forgive you on Judgement Day. A Day when Sun will be brought so near to is that children hair will turn grey. When Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them) will beg to Allah for Mercy. Then our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will beg Allah for Mercy for his Ummah.
Read our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) life and his Sunnah. Gather as much goodness as you can in this life. We all have to return to Allah individually and be accountable to what we did in this life. Death is the bitter truth and it is the reality. Here common sense should also prevail.
