I live in a muslim country and I need to share with people here because almost everyone is immersed in Ribba and the religious authorities say bank interest is not ribba so most of them tell me to leave them alone as they will still keep their money in the bank with interest and if it’s really the case that it’s ribba then the sin will not be on them but on the shoyukh who came on tv or answered their questions on the phone and said bank interest is not ribba 🤯 Also the helper lady who comes to the house for some work could benefit from such a lecture as she is always in trouble with health, money, family feuds but won’t stop stealing small things. I caught her few times but I was feeling too shy to scold her and break her heart so I didn’t say anything but I removed the items hoping she will understand that I know she wanted to take things without permission and maybe she will stop. She didn’t stop of course and with the new increase in prices the stealing will get worse. She is very good in her work and very helpful so even with this bad trait I can’t stop her from coming to me as I need the help and even if I replace her it will be someone who does much worse and will not work as good as her. I’m hoping that such a lecture that we can both listen to while working will make her realize she is not saving money but bringing disasters in her life.
