Hey guys the Fire Brothers here and today we have some more Transformers news to cover, this time we have some info on the future of the Transformers Live Action movies thanks to everyone's favorite producer, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura. So according to out favorite producer, it looks your boy is doubling down and for the next Transformers movie we can expect the dreaded G.I. Joe crossover since Lorenzo seems dead set on making that the next Transformers movie we get after Transformers One. In all honesty... I really wish this was not the case since it feels like we are going to be heading back to the Bayverse way of doing things, specially if the G.I. Joe are going to be stealing the spotlight from the Transformers cast. So in this video I wanted to go over the latest batch of news and share with you the unfortunate news, now according to Lorenzo "I don't know what's happening" seems to imply they have no idea where they are heading for the future of the movies aside bringing G.I.Joe into the fold. I agree with you Fire , I do not want the humans to take away spotlight from the Transformers Robot Characters.
The ending of ROTB would have made sense if it was "Hey there kid. Agent Simmons. Welcome to Sector 7, you wanna see something frozen?"

If Steven does direct this G.I. Joe crossover with Transformers. He said he would still focus more on the transformers like in ROTB. They could change the way the movie goes, like how Bumblebee 2 was supposed to happen, but they changed it to Rotb. We still have time to see what happens. We'll just have to wait and see
There is only one way I see this working: Either GI Joe is going to be the S.H.I.E.L.D for Transformers, Rise of the beast sequel is looking a lot like Iron Man 2.
That would honestly be cool because in rotb, the autobots were still iffy on working with Noah because they didn't trust the humans. Maybe this will have them open up to the fact that they are stuck on earth and that they need to accept their presence on earth, but to still be in secret, like transformers prime. The military knew about the autobots but the civilians didn't know
If we do get a GI Joe crossover with the Transformers, I want a GI Joe TV show to explain how Sector 7 became GI Joe (my personal headcanon) or at least GI Joe’s origins. I’m not against the idea of the crossover but I want some explanations as to how it came about like how Skybound is doing it with the Energon Universe alongside Void Rivals.
I’m just gonna take Lorenzo’s words with a Grain of salt. A G.I. Joe crossover will definitely happen for sure, but the way its introduced and executed is all that matters. And knowing Lorenzo and the fact that most of his statements as of late were either contradictory or straight up false, it’s best not to dwell on what ever useless residue spews out of his mouth.
Steven Caple Jr said that even if it's a crossover the focus is still in the Transformers, and there would be at least two or three barely known Joes.

Unpopular opinion, gi Joe will only succeed with the transformers (without massacring the robot cast) is being an abridged version of NEST
The Transformers Robots should be the main characters not useless humans, except for maybe Noah and Charlie because they are decent human characters. What I am trying to say the focus should be Optimus Prime, The Autobots , and the Decepticons.
It probably could work Steven did say gi joe will only be support to not take away screen time away from the transformers

I really love this idea! Transformers movies will have human characters and army soldiers regardless cause they are fighting a war on EARTH! So having at least well known characters such as snake eyes interacting with the autobots in my opinion is better than having another random person accidentally stumbling upon them. I fully support this crossover 👍
At this point, I rather have Hasbro and Paramount terminated their partnership, and Hasbro finds a new film company to make better Transformers movies.

Bruh these guys need to focus more on solo films like Bumblebee. Make a film on Optimus , Arcee , Mirage and idk what not . Bulkhead or Ironhide maybe. Just put some effort on charecter building. Moreover the beasts need their own movie. Just them and not any other transformers. This will take a lot of time but ultimately help building up to that epic film that they are tryna throw at us in the name of another Transformers movie. Omgg dude I feel so maad. Its been 17 years since the first live action TF movie came out , and they are still struggling to make things right and its so sad , it makes me so mad coz I can see the potential it has . But they have to mess it up everytime. All they know is to rush into things and make a mess out of it..
I honestly hope they bring back the shock stinger for bumblebee as it was scrapped off in the first Bay Movie. There was already a shock stinger design created but taken off at the last minute which is very unfortunate. Stingers have always been bumblebee’s iconic weapon in any other animated films. So would be really cool if we could see them bringing this electrical-lightning upgrade for bumblebee instead of the old plasma canons. I am guessing they scrapped this concept off in ROTF because there was another electrical-weapon wielding bot (namely, Jolt). But now we know they might be approaching a different direction/timeline, a completely new reboot from the Bay’s films, they should give Bee his iconic stingers back. Even if it’s not a reboot, jolt is most likely dead (off-screen/ also his severed head seen in DOTM), still it’s a good reason to give Bee his stingers back.
Bee and his new/iconic Shock Stinger and Stinger Blade would definitely change the game. 🐝⚡️
If all else fails just remember. We still have fan projects to look forward to
Oh yeah, G.I. Joe... my favorite IP... it feels like Transformers, instead of raising its own box office (which is not even in its best moment) has to carry a corpse
As far as i dare say, the only way a Transformers X G.I.Joe is if it is a chase movie where the soldier chase a con for a hour and a half with maybe a bot in deep covert as their ride. Anything with more then four or five transformers will crash the story.
My hope is a possibility that a GI-Joe crossover could see them bring in a version of Roller as an recon drone and Combat Deck as a mobile command center, to help the Autobots and GI-Joe work togeather in the field.
I just want Roller to show up agian (he hasn't been in a cartoon since G1 and has never been on the big screen) and a live action Trailer base that a toy could actually do in a way that actually looks like it does on screen.
At this point, I feel like Hasbro wants G.I Joe wants to make the same love for the franchise similar to Transformers.

I totally agree with you,i really dont like this idea of a crossover, like you said this is just a desperate attemp to the GI Joe brand a float since most of its fans are people from the 80s, i really dont want this to happend,we just started to make good Transformers screentime in the movies,we dont need humans to take the Spotlight again
The first 2 GI Joe movies didn't "flop". They both made over $300mill worldwide. They weren't huge smash hits, but they weren't flops, either. The Snake Eyes movie was 100% a huge flop, though. Can't argue about that one.
Let’s be honest, the reason why they already want to move forward with this crossover is just so they can have an excuse to lower the budget especially since ROTB underperformed and have a majority of the screen time dedicated to the humans yet again.
Also not having Duke or Snake Eyes as part of the Joe is so dumb because even tho I’m not the biggest fan of GI Joe aren’t they literally the face of franchise? It’s like making a JL movie without Superman or Batman.

I think we should give this crossover a chance but in the same way it doesn't excite me as much since what they should have done is focus on the TRANSFORMERS or in any case to do a crossover I would have preferred them to do it with Marvel Studios and have them form part of the multiverse so that the franchise is much more popular for casual people and thus the films are more successful and earn a lot of money 🎉

I am scared cuz the curse of the gi joe movies not doing well, but at the same time i'll keep an open mind. I like the gi joe cartoon when I was younger, but that's about it lol. I watch the first gi joe, and dont remember nothing. Ain't nothing to be hyped for except that there's more transformers movies coming. I know there's comicbook crossovers with gi joe, and the transformers. But again we'll see.

i just saw transformer 8 and i loved it i just hope that paramount takes over and they do a 9 live-action movie and animated.
Transformers 9 gives me a 50 50 feeling.

Get rid of Lorenzo, the execs at Paramount/Hasbro and anyone who wants to hold this franchise back from potential glory. Soft retcon ROTB to have a better BB sequel based on the original script for ROTB back when it was a Autobot-Decepticon movie and apparently titled “Transformers” or “Transformers: The Movie”.

This is exactly the reason why that paramount should stop listening to fans who are desperate and blindly filled with high expectations for a film series in their perspective,
since they never acknowledge nor understand the last series we had was actually about transformers (aka Bayverse), now the whole franchise is being forced to become the next MCU or DCEU due to producers not having a game plan and making excuses.
That also includes the studios since they need to think more often and be sure of their decision whether they want to fix the bayverse or start off fresh SMH.😂

even tho they're on earth, which most fans forget, so it makes sense for the humans to have a role along with the transformers' characters (depending on who's being introduced).
Also i wouldn't say the human characters from the previous films were bad (which alot dramatically claim 🙄) but actually enjoyable to watch since they had more personality and development which makes them decent characters unlike noah and elena from ROTB 😂😂😂.
So, in conclusion, fans need to understand the previous films more often instead of nitpicking about something that isn't accurate nor related to the source material (which they didnt create nor own) 😂.
