@TrekCulture, Section 31's interest in the Kataan probe makes a lot of sense. If you think about it Picard not only lived an entire life in 25 minutes he retained the skills he'd learned during that time. It's actually quite interesting how Daystrom Station preserved so many key figures. The mind of the institute's founder via the M-5, Kirk, Data via B4, and even Picard's previous organic body. And given that Alton Soong's final project was housed there, it's possible he provided the body to Section 31. After all, the body was previously under his jurisdiction. I find it a little odd that he left his children behind to work on this final project, but I do understand his reason for deciding to forgo saving himself. And it proved to be exactly what was needed for humanity's survival. Also, I didn't want to claim it was Picard's "original" body. He's been through transporters enough times and was even converted to energy, for a short time existing within a nebula and within the systems of the Enterprise-D, but was restored to matter without memory of his energy existence. Reminds me of when a similar thing happened to members of the DS9 crew during a transporter malfunction that put their minds in the station computers and their bodies in the holosuite. But to me it just looks like he's pretending he's got big breasts 🤷♂️ and I was almost always use the most silly looking clips and this is Bashir at his finest.
@@BuhurtUK Star Trek With the Sound Off.
Could be a short lived show coming soon on UPN.
If I would’ve been assigned to work at the daystrum station, I probably would’ve been fired in the firstweek! It would’ve been too tempting, not to dance with the bones of Kirk
That kinda always bugged me. Thalaron Generator AND Data were completely destroyed...IN SPACE... idk how they found a single piece.
And B-4,Lore and Data are all in DAYSTROM...Daystrom and AI don't mix well 😑
Are there any other artifacts that you would have been cool to see? I'll get it started. A Slavers stasis box.
We keep seeing Daystrom this and Daystrom that, but where is Daystrom himself???
A mental health facility after his break down.
Attaining the genesis device would had been a good reason for a big galactic war. Missed plot opportunity
3:55 IDK it looks kind of sexy to me!
🖖
This almost makes Section 31 seem like an evolution of the SCP Foundation.
Good God No!
I also think the 'more productive' argument is nonsense. I think there are also enough studies that show working less hours and taking a little break once in a while actually makes you more productive.
Could the alt timeline Kirk from Strange new wolds be the Kirk body at the institute?
DAVID KEPT ONE SECRET OF MAKING IT WORK TO HIMSELF, SO IT DIED WITH HIM
Wibble!!!! XD
Sean, a ball joke and a dong joke? cheeky
Arretan is "a terran" spelled sideways...
Yes, their planet was called Arret.
I always thought it was spelled daystorm , sounded cool. But alas it was not so.
One word. Inner Light.
Inform the Klingon High Council, Captain James Tiberius Kirk is alive. We need 2 Birds of Pray 12 units of Klingon Shock troops.
We must free Captain James Tiberius Kirk to stand trial !!!!
Worf
What about Capt Jonathan Acher????
Only 10 on this list but you're right there's more than the 10 mentioned.
Its worth noting as of Strang new world season two that might not be Prime kirk
But hey they have a device that can let you live out an entire life and if you're technically that person its probably easier to use huh?
"prime kirk" 🤣
Attack Tribbles would be more dangerous if their young went inside the ear canal and attached themselves there, thus in a matter of minutes eat the from the inside out.
Would the bodies of Kirk & Picard be considered artefacts?
Yeah probably much simpler to use a different word 😂
I think 'relics' would be the appropriate term.
klingons would immediately go to war with tribbles.
L.L.A.P back at you.
And us Mac users are worried about the M5 chip coming someday… (or they might skip it…😅)
I do not like that section 31 is just out in the open like this now. I'd accept this more if it was just starfleet intelligence
To be fair they only were in this because the changelings stole something from their station. It's not like they were actively getting involved in the plot. But yeah DS9 was about the right amount, ENT OK yeah fair enough, DISCO why are they out in the open?
Genesis would make a very interesting Terran Empire storyline. Terrans would 100% use genesis constsntly to clear off alien worlds of pesky non-humans
We know that didnt happen though.
In every sci-fi reality, we just have to be stupid and get hurt before we learn, DON'T NETWORK THINGS TOGETHER!!
Nervous system.
What's that you are holding.
Laughs at all the Yanks getting confused by us Brits using Queens English version of Artefact over their misspelled US English Artifact.
Seriously it doesn't take more then a minute to google it and realise BOTH spellings are correct LOL.
Well, you know the saying about Americans and Brits -- two people separated by a common language. I imagine the artefacts come in a lot of different colours (including grey) as well! I am American, but read lots of British novels. I can't believe how many people have never encountered a different spelling. After all, we've all heard Jean-Luc Picard say "shed-yule". We know Brits are different.🥸🧐
Where's Ambassador Spock's Rocket Boots???
🖖🖖😊🖖🖖🍁
CAPTAIN JAMES TIRBELUS KIRK IS
