Maybe someone can advise on my technical problem. I have Garrett MS-2 headphones. They work fine on my DeLeon, but don't work at all on my Tejon. Dead silence on the Tejon. Anyone know why?
brad ford the concentric is better and if you can find an eliptical 7x 3 concentric which I bought originally for my lobo supertrac you'd find that to be a revelation.
Hi John. I set up an exact replica 'Monte' test board, only I opted for some large, chunky, crusty, rusty 'antique' iron nails, as well as including some narrower, bent, crusty, rusty old nails. The results were the same. In fairness, I tried to get the Tejon to fail, using these objects. however the Tejon still hit the coin target in all the respective scenarios, even the 'down the barrel' test!!! I was using the 9x8, and the 5.75 coils, respectively, with discrimination set to just spit/break on the nails. In all honesty, to say I was surprised by these results would be a big understatement. Iron tone/grunt isn't necessary for me, on a machine that can separate non ferrous from ferrous as good as this; as coin hunter, in my opinion.
Great video Keith! I so agree with your recommendations on the 2 tone and fast retune AM. It would be an even better machine.
good video thanks.. I found 3 large cents this week with my tejon..
Cool machine I used Tesoro many years ago they worked very well.
Just the best machines,
Nothing can beat them.
Its a pitty they stopped.
thanks for making the Video , you know that is good , its one of the Tesoroes i have never dried yet .
Always good info and a honest point of you
I love this machine.
I am getting my second Tejon back from the person I sold it to in December. I miss its simplicity and and audio quicks.
great review again. Thanks ..Charles
Cibola 8x9 concentric does the exact same or mine does. 100%
Have you tried this test with a vaquero ?

I have one coming soon.
is there any depth differences between the 5.75 concentric and wide scan coils? and which one is better for trash?

True words.
I want to get a tejon, but the battery life they claim, and the amount of cells it takes I don't think I could keep batteries in it.
Yep, the Tejon is a twatter for eating batteries. I guess that is the trade-off for such powerful dual circuitry.
Tesoro needs to get back to production. I had heard fisher was.going to take over tesoro. What happened????
I really can't see the nails. Are they dug rusty nails?
