- Spring is right around the corner, and the cold weather is easing and most of the winter camouflage is peeling off.
In the heavy snow that suddenly fell and piled up out of season,
On the soldiers' expressions, the color of fatigue bleeds even more deeply.
A time of peace without war.
Waiting impatiently for the spring of the heart will have neither enemies nor allies.
Soldiers, old people, and children alike must be the common heartfelt wish of all those who live together in that era.
T34/76, MARDER III, and now StaG III complete the winter series trilogy.

To my taste (and comparing to actual historical photos) the weathering is way over the top. Way too much.
And this modeler also forgot something very important. A mistake most modelers make: when a tank is this old and damaged, the rubber parts of the wheels should be damaged, too ! They are by far the weakest part of the tank. Damage to the rubber is certain. Especially a tank that is this old and which has seen so much action !

hello, amazing job, quick question which airbrush and compressor do you use ? I want to buy one and I'm looking for advice, thanks :)
Compressor is Tamiya's Spray Work HG Compressor Revo II. The main airbrush I use is Tamiya's Spray Work HG Super Fine Airbrush (nozzle diameter is 0.2mm). When I bought it, it was a product in a relatively cheap price range, but I was a little surprised to see the recent price increase. Did you find it helpful? Thanks for your comment.🍺🍺🍺

Hi, i have a question about this model - what is the purpose of the blue wooden beem on the side of the tank? i noticed both this and your stug 4 have one of these. is it for signalling or recognition or something?

The detail on the crew and tools really is about the best ever.
PanzerFaust is not used by the STug crew. It is used by armored grenadiers on the rear deck.🍺

Superb job! I do have a question... prior to paining with enamels over the top of acrylic paints, such as the Tamiya XF-2 which was used, wouldn't that cause an issue with the acrylic paints underneath? I thought you had to spray clear varnish first.
Enamel paint can be applied directly over acrylic without any problems. Thanks for your comment.🍺

This is a toy tank, and I'm just enjoying the weathering technique as a hobby. It's not really a question to take so seriously.🍦
