- The German army preferred plant camouflage.
I remember reading about it in a document somewhere.
Indeed, it is true that there are still many photographs of German tanks disguised as plants during World War II.
But as you can imagine, it must have been very hard work.
Plants are living things, so they wither and lose their leaves over time, so they don't act as camouflage.
The tank crew must have had great difficulty keeping it in good condition as a camouflage.
The Tiger I (mid-term production type) modeled this time is boldly decorated with plant camouflage.
Mid-production Tiger tank. Its performance as a tank was excellent, but at that time the war situation was gradually turning cloudless.
It may have been a situation where I had to work on camouflage more than necessary.
At the ending, the tiger tank advances to the rhythm of the melancholy waltz in triple time.
War is always stupid and ugly, but music, which is art, is sad but eternally beautiful.

なるほど、確かにその様な事例の大戦中のドイツ軍戦車の写真を今でも多く目にします。
しかし実際はかなり大変な作業だたことでしょう、容易に想像ができます。
なんたって植物は生物ですから、時間が経てば萎れて枝の葉は落ち偽装の役目を果たしません。
偽装として良いコンディションを保つ為に戦車兵たちは、多いに苦労したことでしょう。
今回のタイガー I にはそんな植物による偽装を大胆に施しました。
中期生産型のタイガー戦車。戦車としての性能は優秀ですが、当時戦況は徐々に雲行きが怪しくなり始める頃。
思わず偽装にも必要以上に力を注ぎ、手を掛けざるおえない状況にあったのかも知れません。
エンディングでは、哀愁漂う悲しげなワルツの三拍子のリズムに合わせ進軍するタイガー戦車。
戦争はいつの世も愚かで醜く虚しいが、芸術である音楽は悲しくも永遠に美しい。
今、コマンダーの脳裏にうかぶものは一体何か・・・・・・・

I sprayed dark green on the camouflaged plants, but it seems that the saturation was still high. As you said, I think it would have been more realistic if the tone was lowered more by washing. Thanks for your comment.🍰🍰🍰

Just the No4 MkI rifle would not be tied to the back. The Sgt Major (CSM and particularly RSM) would have them for breakfast. Rifles are expensive pieces of kit. But all in all, excellent. Well done.

Hi I’m quite new to modeling I’ve just finished my first model on my own and now I have to worry about painting it. What type of air spray and paint do you use? What do you use for the tanks shells on the back do you 3d model them I’m curious. And you have made some of the greatest models I’ve seen so far thanks for reading this and answering to anyone!

Great techniques, used to great effect. Beautiful work! Personally, I think it looks better without the branches/foliage. Historically accurate, but it hides the work beneath.

Excellent work as usual. What are you using for cleaning up after the initial oil pin wash of weld lines, etc? Thinner or just water?
It varies from time to time. Sometimes it is lacquer thinner, sometimes it is washed with water.🍺

I use enamel solvent to fix the pastel powder. I use it because it is far more penetrating than the others.🍰🍰🍰

@@algirr3582 После распыления лака для волос нанесите воду на окрашенную поверхность и сколите ее. Растворитель Tamiya затрудняет последующее удаление и не скалывается.🍺

Я использую холостые патроны из набора 88-мм снарядов Tamiya для Tiger I в масштабе 1/35. Его изготавливают путем вырезания латуни. Я использую его с добавлением сажи.
