    Former 10 year commuter in the Chicagoland Area. Have lived in San Antonio since 2016. If you don’t like traffic Windcrest, Royal Creat, Cheyenne valley won’t have in traffic all day. It Ms NEISD schools. Texas is school choice if you transport your kiddo. There are four great charter schools within 10 minutes.
    Once your kiddo is in highschool they can apply to magnet programs in other districts. Location makes all those commutes/options available.
    If you are retiree the area is 20 minutes or less to Randolph or Ft Sam. Lackland is 30-35 minutes with multiple ways to get there incase there’s a traffic issue.
    Airport is 18 minutes away and downtown is 22 minutes.
    You can get around the 35/410 interchange nightmare with ease.
    Again I’m all about the traffic. I’m not wasting my time sitting on an interstate like I did on I90 for 10 years.
    I would die in Alamo Ranch or Stone Oak cause you are on the edge of the city bleck.
    Also Windcrest is the best little community for holidays especially Christmas.

    Alamo ranch/Culebra traffic socks because the way the house development boomed in the past ten years with no road infrastructure plan for the census area , stone oak has had construction road issues for years but now less traffic, native San Antonioian here and its good but also annoying at the same time with all the people moving from out of state that aren't military personnel

    • @SanAntonioTexasLiving
      @SanAntonioTexasLiving  Рік тому +3

      We're in for a whole new Culebra in Alamo Ranch over the next couple of years with the current expansion underway. The plan is to give it an off set left turn lane just like Bandera. I've been in the Far West Side for the last 8yrs and the growth has been crazy!

      Monte Vista, Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, Alamo Heights, and Southtown are some of the nicest historic areas with great walkability and quick access to downtown.

    • @SanAntonioTexasLiving
      @SanAntonioTexasLiving  Рік тому +1

      I do know there's a lot of opportunities in both commercial and residential construction with all of the growth and development in the area, so you're definitely good there!
      Being a content creator myself, I really understand the value of photography and videography from a marketing standpoint and how it can help businesses grow. It may depend somewhat on their particular niche is and what clientele they serve, but overall I'd say there a lot of opportunity here for that as well. What do they typically shoot?

To many people coming from different states!!!! So many car accidents on a daily basis!!! The cost-of-living is no longer affordable!!! And oh yea all the

      Hey Quincy! If the HOA is saying no, it's probably somewhere in the covenants & restrictions for the community.
