Easy fix, just install 1" spacer in front and back. Nice Jeep bud!

I just took off my wrangler tires and replaced them with landspyder AT tires and it made a dramatic difference in my jeep, especially in deep snow. I also went with a taller tire from a 265 60 18 to a 265 65 18 and I absolutely love these tires. No rubbing whatsoever, but I don't have air suspension

You gotta replace the tires, can’t just use the originals. Diameter and width matter.
Use a lower profile tire with a thinner width.

Checkered caliper bracket part number if it ends in a 15 you have the smaller brakes set up if it ends in a 17 you have the heavy duty switch out brackets or run a spacer

I know this is a little different question than you are demonstrating here but maybe with your experience doing this switch, hopefully you’ve talked to somebody that has done this. I’m wanting to go with a 20 inch wheel in my grand Cherokee identical to yours and I’m trying to decide what size tire will fit without rubbing. I e installed lifts and oversized tires on every truck I’ve ever owned, but this is the first Jeep I’ve owned and it’s been a learning experience from the rip. If you may happen to know I’d appreciate your input, if not, then thanks fir reading my comment anyway. Nice Jeep me though. Has your been consuming oil like mine has? It uses a quart of oil every two thousand miles. I’m running 5w-30 synthetic Mobil 1. I’m not getting any smoke and no oil on the driveway where it parks. I’m thinking maybe it’s like a couple other vehicles I’ve owned that had a little anticipated blow by and pressurizing the block and forcing a touch of oil out if the breather into the Intake to be burned in the engine. Which is the case with most new and old vehicles. Let me know what your experience has been with yours and what kind of oil your running. Thanks for the content. I’m trying to cross over the size you installed to match the equivalent in the 20” wheel minus a smidge to compensate for the rub in the fender well your getting.

You need to throw some 1.25” spacers on that thing

Hi, I had a question. I hope you read this comment. i have jeep grand cherokee 2011. I saw that the wrangler 255/70/18 rue fits him but I don't know if I need to program the TPMS sensors I think not because the cars are of the same brand but I don't ask you since you have changed them

Would a smaller side wall help clearance instead of a 70 go with a 60

Have you been able to fix this rubbing issue. I’m planning to have Wrangler 4xe rims for my ride but not sure how many mods I need to fit those rims.

@@beaushow319 Cool. And that nosi while driving? As far as I understood it had something to do with the clip on the brake callipers. Have you been able to fix that as well?

Do you have the V6 or a V8? I’ve heard calipers and brakes are larger with a Hemi so I’m trying to make sure this is going to work for me before making a purchase.

Would a RC 2.5” leveling kit make it work fine?

It's not the height on my jeep it's the width of the tire

    1. “You don’t listen for things. You’re a woman.” (A) Sexist language (B) Patently false bc the wife actually heard a new 6:29 noise the husband almighty didn’t.
    2. “I’m gonna take a little hammer and tap on it (brake caliper) to see if I can take it in a little further.” There should be a federal law against selling tools to vehicle owners who are this clueless. 🤣
