Hello! George recorded “Poinciana” and two other tracks as a sideman guest appearance on the incredible Jorge Dalto and Super Friends record “Rendez-vous” 1983 East World Japan.
George plays on two more tracks here “My Latin Brother” and “Hotel Du Globe.” Interesting enough Barry Finnerty and Ted Pearlman also appear on the records other tracks too.
The record is rare but you can find it in its entirety on UA-cam too.

They all do🙏🏽 George is revered🙏🏽🙏🏽 And, there is even a famous video around where Scofield talks about trying to learn George’s right hand technique. They all are heavily influenced and do indeed have similarities with George….
As the saying goes: George can only do George…. One of Our Last living true Jazz guitar legend after Kenny Burrell…..
