Reb Brown It's well documented that Randy was very protective of Elizabeth at that time as Liz was one of the very few females around the locker room then. It's also widely known that as Randy and Warrior were roading together as the Maniacs tagteam, Hogan and his then wife meddled in their already fractured marriage and then that ultimately broke down. Hogan was the biggest manipulator going. He absolutely hated others getting over and potentally stealing "his" spot. It's one of the reasons why he left WWF in '93 as he couldn't stand Bret being the face of the "New Generation". It's why he screwed Bret out of the belt at Mania IX, then refused to drop it to him at KOTR instead dropping it to Yokozuna. His meddling was in full force when he was given creative control at WCW and we all know how THAT ended up.
Without even watching any other WWF show from the 80's to early 90's, Hogan somehow managed to get himself into every single Wrestlemania main event until the 10th Wrestlemania, even if he wasn't in the match (Wrestlemania IV), his non-title match was the main event over the World Title match featuring the other 2 most famous wrestlers in the world (Wrestlemania VIII), and the worst finish to the "biggest wrestling show of the year" where he already appeared as a tag team in the middle of the card, but finagled his way into winning the championship in a quick squash to end the show (Wrestlemania IX). "You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain"...and this quote perfectly reflects "the biggest babyface in history".
But why would Hogan not wanna drop the belt to Bret Hart? Why was he ok dropping it to Yokozuna? Why would it matter to him who to drop it to. It still had to be dropped, right????
DolanDarkXGrandayy 69 Yeah, until Hogan and Beefcake get their heat back and basically celebrate driving the heels out by giving away all the fake money from IRS briefcase.
So during his pre match promo the Red Rooster said "I'm going to teach you something that you never taught me, and that's how to lose." Did he just imply that he learned to lose all by himself???
LOVE the point about Savage as champion coming out last... WWE disrespected Savage so much - he was my favorite ever... Hogan kicks out of the ELBOW DROP at 1 and throws Savage in the air? Savage takes a LEG DROP and Hogan wins off a LAZY DISRESPECTFUL cover... SMH Savage as usual sold this match and was a true professional. #RIP #RIPMyBrotherJustin (No one left to watch wrestling with here with me bro! Love and miss you always!)
(the Champ should ALWAYS come out last) BUT... the kayfabe reason Macho came out first, is because the champion has the choice of when they come out, so this was Macho's choice.
When Hogan formed the NWO by dropping the leg on Savage this is what I remembered. I always thought Savage was the better character and performer, Hogan was just built better.
Hogan just stole all his gimmicks and was lucky he stole a good one. He stole Superstar Billy Graham's entire gimmick When warrior got over, he started wearing stuff on his face like masks He wore Kevin Sullivans black evil face paint He hitched his ride to the wolfplack and started NWO He tried to call himself "the Wood" when the Rock was getting huge He tried to retcon history and say Hollywood Hulk Hogan was the "original triple H" after triple H became the biggest name in the sport. He wasn't even built better than savage, he was just able to trick people into believing he was the man (the right gay guy)
@@Drew791 I was a huge mark for Hogan back in the day. Now I look at his matches amazed at how boring he was. Makes sense why the NWO worked... the guy was a heel all along.
The amount of enjoyment you have given during these times of covid is literally the only thing I had to look forward to everyday. I have watched the entire catalog probably 5 or 6 times. Never gets old period. I dont know what I would have done. My mother, grandmother, grandfather, my mother's sister and her youngest brother, my uncle Joe all died from covid. I have no one left, I live completely alone in a huge estate my grandparents bought and paid for before I was ever born. Too many bedrooms I can sleep in a different room every night for a week. It's just myself and my cat Patrick. There has been dark times, I contemplated killing my self and too many times, quick rub and a squeeze squeeze, ot hot dogging and grand standing has popped in my mind only to start laughing and finding myself watching another episode of osw. There's no amount of praise I can ever say that would re pay all three of you. I might not be here. Guys, all three of you, youtube subs, ad revenue doesn't matter. All three of you are saving people's lives by bringing just a little bit of light and laughter to people's lives where the dark of the covid nightmare have made so many give up.
Trump's business career in a nutshell: fucks up one of the hottest possible tickets of the time attempting to get his "brand" over, ensuring that everybody loses.
@Mike Keller Except the economy oh and unemployment numbers. But that could be that he was following the worst president of all time. But hey it could be worse, he could be Obama....Or Hilary.
@Danni Biz he really did a great job of showing his belief that he was betrayed and how it broke his heart. As a kid I never snapped of course as I worshipped at the church of Hulkamania but seeing it now, if you were an adult, you could EASILY be sympathic to Macho on this one. Fuck WWE can't do shit like this now, god damn it.
My question is, why the fuck did Vince have that laying around? One may say the most obvious reason, and that's a Halloween costume, but, being Vince Mcmahon, I think he bought that just to have a cape. The Halloween answer doesn't ring true to me
Even though this was 8 years ago and my second rewatch, a little bit of random/useless info...referee Timmy White, from those awful suicide segments, was a friend of my father's growing up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Whenever there was a live event or pay per view in the area he always hooked us up with tickets and even let us (underage ones) into the Friendly Tap to meet some of the wrestlers. My dad said sometimes back in the early 80s he'd have beers with some of them (Greg the Hammer can drink like a fish he said) and even once got us backstage in the early attitude era to meet some of the guys, although briefly, the nicest guy of the lot was actually Billy Gunn. He stayed and talked to 15 year old me and a buddy of mine for like 20 minutes. Just a good dude, and I've always been a fan since that interaction. Timmy White was always the nicest guy, sucks he hurt his shoulder in a match and had to retire early
Fun Fact: New Line Cinema released two movies during the summer of 1989: A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, No Holds Barred. One was a rush job that was literally being written as it was being shot which more or less killed the franchise, the other was a terrible Hulk Hogan movie which was almost entirely rewritten in 36 hours. Guess which one did better at the box office?
ANOES 5: The Dream Child made $22.000.000 on a $6.000.000 budget despite the movie having a definite release date BEFORE they even had a finished draft script for it.
Million Dollar Man has best evil laugh in the business ever, no contest. But HEY, y'know what would be awesome??! A TOP TEN GREATEST EVIL LAUGHS IN WRESTLING.
1:22:12 "Why didn't Liz take her husband's side?" Because at that time it was not yet acknowledged in kayfabe that they were married (as they had been since 1984). They weren't married in kayfabe until two and a half years after this PPV, in SummerSlam '91 when part of the "card" was their on-screen wedding (Savage had flipped back to babyface by then so they could reconcile on screen). That was the "Match Made in Heaven" , the counterpart of the aptly-named "Match Made in Hell" handicap 2 v 3 tag match of Hogan and Warrior against Slaughter, "Mustafa" (Iron Sheik), and General Adnan. Sadly, despite the fans finally getting the payoff of seeing them marry, the actual marriage was in trouble by that point and they divorced in real life just over a year later in August 92, with the WWF actually acknowledging this in kayfabe in a brief statement. And in fact if you listen carefully, despite the clearly shown insane jealously and the implications, there never was any clear and definitive claim on Macho Man's part during the MegaPowers storyline and in the years before that he and Liz were in any kind of romantic relationship at all. He had only ever said she was lovely and his manager, and that Hogan had eyes for her. Liz for her part said she "cared for" both men, and the face announcers would always say how "concerned" she was when either one was in trouble in the ring, but she never stated any romantic interest in either man. It was all very very carefully done, carefully phrased, to not ACTUALLY have a love triangle despite going 90% of the way towards one.
That’s awesome bro!! Whenever I comment about this feud I always try to convey how the majority of people I knew back then wanted macho to win & I’m talking the large majority. Obviously it was a hot topic @school lol & it was 80%-20% for macho. It seemed like they were cheering him & the camera flashes were lighting the place up when he went up on the ropes after entering the ring. My point is I’m curious as to what the crowd was like towards macho that night? I can’t see many fans turning on him after that amazing run he was having that entire year. It was long ago I know so you may not remember but I figured I’d ask. I was furious that we were going back to the same old punch kick “hulk up” ending followed by the same old 3poses. The past year we had savage flying all over the ring fast, jumping from the top ropes to the outside, the elbow, over the rope clothesline….etc. Again,it’s awesome that you were there!
I’m sorry cause I’ve already been rambling but let me also say that rewatching this shit after I’ve grown up & matured I now have so much respect & administration for Dibiase! He was amazing in the ring & on the mic. I HATED HIM so much back then! That’s how talented this man was. Amazing!
I was there too buddy I sat all the way in the back and you're right watching it is way better I didn't see anything I didn't meet Andre the Giant though and ate one of those WWF ice cream pops for the first time
How could anyone thumb down these videos? These boys put alot of effort into them and they bring back a ton of memories. Great job.....from Warrensburg Missouri USA.
Jesus Christ that opening promo is legendary. I was 9. Wanted Macho Man to win more than anything in the world and I was crushed. I digress. Just settling in with some coffee and buds to check this out, Merry Christmas boys!
My favorite wrestler, THE MACHO MAN!! This is when i discovered wrestling as an immigrant kid coming to canada, i was like wow, i never knew this stuff existed
Warrior did so many bear hugs because he would get too blown up from running to the ring, shaking the ropes and basically using up all his energy before the match so by the time it starts he is already winded. At least that is what I heard Hogan and Scott Hall say in other videos. I totally believe that too.
The 105:40 mark. The term monsoon used was "a Uecker seat", which is a term used for an obstructed seat at the old county stadium in Milwaukee. Because the Uecker seats were obstructed by the building architecture, the only way to properly follow the game would be to listen to hall of fame radio broadcaster Bob Uecker, the Uecker seats cost a mere dollar to purchase.
I love going back to the OSW archives and watching the reviews that hooked me. Something I noticed today in this episode that’s really cool… I love American Dad, and the Hulk episode is one of my favorites. When the cartoon ends, Hogan wanders off while his Real American theme plays. But then, abruptly, the song ends end credits theme plays. I never liked that. The sneaky lads at OSW, however, did it right. When the cartoon clip ends, they continued to play the Real American theme over the podcast credits. Little touches like that make OSW reviews so special . 💯
15:11 Holy moly that clothesline from Akeem on Shawn! They're talking about killing the Bossman but Shawn hits his head so hard and fast on the mat it's a wonder he survived let alone was able to wrestle on..
Jesus Christ... Randy Savage was such a great promo guy. That beginning segment was *SO* believable. He didn't look at the camera until he said "I hate you, Hulk Hogan!!!" Chills...
I hated, hated, HATED, the Big Boss Man as a kid. However, after re-watching these matches, I have to admit that Boss Man was a fantastic wrestler. His bumps were near perfection and he played the roll of heel to absolute perfection. WWE is missing talent like this in its present state.
What? If you were a kid in the 1980’s of course you hated the Big Bossman when he was a heel. 1980’s kids booed heels. But when he turned babyface…. every kid in america was a Bossman fan.
There’s nothing that says how low on the totem pole Red Rooster was more than him being battered at Wrestlemania by The Brooklyn Brawler, the most well known jobber in WWE history
So as to why Goldberg has bodyguards, I’ll reference the movie Predator. When filming the movie the actor who played Billy (Sonny Landham) was a reported drinker and notorious for picking fights and trashing places, so the only way Fox was able to insure him was that they a hire a team of security/bodyguards, not to protect Sonny from others mind you but to protect others and himself from himself. And since Goldberg is a right bellend who likes to break stuff, smash windows with his hand, split his head split open from bashing it into a door and giving a concussion/ ending the careers of a Hall of famer, the security team was to protect Goldberg from hurting himself and others
Lads, I love your shows & commentary! Regarding Liz & Savage, they were married in reality, but in kayfabe Liz was just a "manager". When Savage kayfabe asked Liz to marry him & they had the "wedding" - they had actually been married already for 6 or 7 yrs & the relationship was all but over. They split & then divorced a year or so later.
WWE Network mass-blocked 27 of our videos, we must rebuild! Re-uploading these whilst editing Heatwave 98, which'll be coming later on this month! Daily awesomeness/updates at OSWreview.com
B/C they want to charge us for that glitch ridden, over hyped WWE Network... no search engine on Xbox, tons of shows aren't available... they made it seem like "with the push of a button" - not so much... Glad I'm only on a trial b/c I'm leaning toward no...
I love this channel so much. I love your zany editing style too. I’ve been listening and watching your PPV reviews pretty much every chance I get for the last 3 days. I’m starting to swear in Irish and call everyone “lad”......an unexpected side effect
Do you have the official ECW release version of Heatwave '98? Or are you reviewing the WWE edited version? I have the DVD original Pioneer Entertainment version, I can make a copy and mail it to you guys.
I always saw the Goldberg security as there to protect the fans if one of them threw something at him or tried to mess with him and he snapped and went into the stands after them. Plus it does look really cool.
Rockers really date the year for this. But they were such a great tag team. I think Boss man was in the wrong spot. He was off center. And being off center means one of the Rockers has to jump faster, or sooner than the other. It was a botched spot for sure. But I think the blame goes all around.
Any chance ye'd do a review on Survivor Series '93 (the gooolden age). Some of Bobby Heenan's best comments (especially during the Harts vs. Knights match)
SPOILER ALERT Mr Fuji is 53 at the time of this PPV. His birthday is May 4th 1935. 1 month 2 days before his 54th birthday. He is 79 today and still alive.
The reason Goldberg has security follow him isn't to protect him from fans, it's to protect fans from him. Weird for a babyface I know, but he's being portrayed as a dangerous, unpredictable dude who can do anything.
It's a right of passage for those who grew up loving Hogan to one day realize they should have been rooting for Macho Man.

Actually Yokozuna was supposed to drop the belt to hulk at kotr and then Hogan drop it to Bret at ss
Hogan ran 2 companies into the ground to save his own character and I personally believe he has always been loyal to Vince. It was a win win for him..
@@jrsmith1998 because Yoko was a big guy and Bret wasn't. Hogan was stuck in full on asshole mode post 1990.
Wrestlemania 4 - Dibiase pinned
Wrestlemania 5 - Dibiase counted out
Wrestlemania 6 - Dibiase wins by count out
Wrestlemania 7 - Disqualified
Wrestlemania 8 - Disqualified
A waste of an incredible talent
At least dibiase won twice at Wrestlemania IV
They gave him the best gimmick and all the support to make the most of it. A good heel doesn't need the belt. He literally made his own.
DolanDarkXGrandayy 69 Yeah, until Hogan and Beefcake get their heat back and basically celebrate driving the heels out by giving away all the fake money from IRS briefcase.
They should've give the heels the HW belt much more and for much longer.
Didn't need the belt. Gave great promos
So during his pre match promo the Red Rooster said "I'm going to teach you something that you never taught me, and that's how to lose."
Did he just imply that he learned to lose all by himself???
yes. yes he did.
Sometimes ya just gotta branch out and learn something new by yourself lol.
Unintentionally through poor wording lol
hahahahahahaha
You might say Terry Taylor really cocked up his promo there.
They disrespected Savage? They gave him a main event feud against Hogan..
Abe Wallard not true, mania 4
(the Champ should ALWAYS come out last) BUT... the kayfabe reason Macho came out first, is because the champion has the choice of when they come out, so this was Macho's choice.
it's amazing how as a kid you think Hogan is god then you look back at his promos and wrestling skills and he's just a big ball of yellow
RIP to your Bro man✌🏾
When Hogan formed the NWO by dropping the leg on Savage this is what I remembered. I always thought Savage was the better character and performer, Hogan was just built better.
Hogan just stole all his gimmicks and was lucky he stole a good one.
He stole Superstar Billy Graham's entire gimmick
When warrior got over, he started wearing stuff on his face like masks
He wore Kevin Sullivans black evil face paint
He hitched his ride to the wolfplack and started NWO
He tried to call himself "the Wood" when the Rock was getting huge
He tried to retcon history and say Hollywood Hulk Hogan was the "original triple H" after triple H became the biggest name in the sport.
He wasn't even built better than savage, he was just able to trick people into believing he was the man (the right gay guy)
That Savage promo might be the best in wrestling history. RIP Macho!
My GOD I friggin' miss REAL promos. Savage was an ace.
Agreed. That was a claasic AMAZING promo by Macho Man, skewering that asshat Hogan.
@@Drew791 I was a huge mark for Hogan back in the day. Now I look at his matches amazed at how boring he was. Makes sense why the NWO worked... the guy was a heel all along.
Now play the Macho promo but insert the obnoxious "What" chant each time there's a gap.
You know! In ring promos suck. Dude. Backstage promos.
Savage Rules
All the best to you, and yer cat :)
@ 27:49..."quick rub and a squeezy squeezy ....and Raymond loved it
This was one of the best angles in WWF history. Thanks for posting another great video. Keep up the great work!
The crowd is dead because many in attendance weren't fans. They got comps from the Trump casino.
Trump's business career in a nutshell: fucks up one of the hottest possible tickets of the time attempting to get his "brand" over, ensuring that everybody loses.
WWF was paid loads by Trump for the two Wrestlemania’s so they probably didn’t care about the gate as long as it was full.
@Mike Keller Except the economy oh and unemployment numbers. But that could be that he was following the worst president of all time. But hey it could be worse, he could be Obama....Or Hilary.
Mike Keller WM V had the record for the highest PPV buyrate until WM XV

That Million Dollar boat promo had me in stitches! Ted's reaction is so OTT but gold! Who looked like Dracula in that cape!
The DiBiase skit w the million dollar belt and that laugh was epic! What a character
The legend and intensity the man didn't get as much recognition as he deserved especially in wcw. knew how to sell it on the mic. Rip macho

Today is the 30th Anniversary of Wrestlemania V. Spending that day watching this as opposed to the actual Wrestlemania V. Time well spent.
my dad's teacher was here,
& my dad said he hated his teacher after, because he was jealous, & they got a bad substitute teacher lol
Damn Macho looked legit hurt in the promo
@Danni Biz he really did a great job of showing his belief that he was betrayed and how it broke his heart. As a kid I never snapped of course as I worshipped at the church of Hulkamania but seeing it now, if you were an adult, you could EASILY be sympathic to Macho on this one. Fuck WWE can't do shit like this now, god damn it.
He’s wearing a vampire cape 😂. If I only realized that when I was 9 yearly old......
Timmy White was always the nicest guy, sucks he hurt his shoulder in a match and had to retire early
the promo at the beginning is my favourite of all time.
Macho almost bursts into tears at the very end of his opening promo
Macho man was so good. I wish Vince let him put Bret Hart over when Hogan wouldn’t do it.
I get the sense that the jeweler that presented the million dollar by to Dibiasie was very used to maniacal cackling.
That was actually only the 3rd most maniacal cackling he had heard that day.
Kayfabe reason Goldberg came out with security.. they were not for his protection.. they were for everyone elses protection.
yup.
This is how I've always seen it. I don't get why people always questioned it.
He was so bad he might spear the audience by mistake?
Yep. It's a direct ripoff of Mike Tyson's entrance.
Somebody was a fan of Watchmen, I think. Remember Rorschach in jail?
Did anyone else hear Hogan, at 59:55, when he is saying "WWF" they have dubbed over it with him saying "WWE" ?!
Mark Jabroni yeah
Yeah i was like what
Another case of horrid dubbing on the NetWork.
imagine if trump ran for president back in 89
I keep catching them doing that when I watch classics on the network they'll say WW and mute the F
I’m finally watching all the OSW reviews in order. It’s amazing how the OSW boys found their stride so early on and have only improved from then on.
Fun Fact:
New Line Cinema released two movies during the summer of 1989:
A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child,
No Holds Barred.
One was a rush job that was literally being written as it was being shot which more or less killed the franchise, the other was a terrible Hulk Hogan movie which was almost entirely rewritten in 36 hours.
Guess which one did better at the box office?
...No Holds Barred?
ANOES 5: The Dream Child made $22.000.000 on a $6.000.000 budget despite the movie having a definite release date BEFORE they even had a finished draft script for it.
@Chris Terry sure was
Million Dollar Man has best evil laugh in the business ever, no contest. But HEY, y'know what would be awesome??! A TOP TEN GREATEST EVIL LAUGHS IN WRESTLING.
*slaps papers
Jay: You’ve fallen into my trap
In my opinion the dude was the best heel of that generation
Love the way Ted bursts into the shop in his Dracula like cape. Classic. 17:51
The birth of 'Aloha Arn'!!
I was at Wrestlemania V in Atlantic City. This was so much more fun to watch than being there. You guys had me peeing my pants. Great job
Amazing!
I was there too buddy I sat all the way in the back and you're right watching it is way better I didn't see anything I didn't meet Andre the Giant though and ate one of those WWF ice cream pops for the first time
I was there. I didn't see you, liar
All three of you deserve the highest amount of admiration and praise
How could anyone thumb down these videos? These boys put alot of effort into them and they bring back a ton of memories. Great job.....from Warrensburg Missouri USA.
Jesus Christ that opening promo is legendary. I was 9. Wanted Macho Man to win more than anything in the world and I was crushed. I digress. Just settling in with some coffee and buds to check this out, Merry Christmas boys!
My favorite wrestler, THE MACHO MAN!! This is when i discovered wrestling as an immigrant kid coming to canada, i was like wow, i never knew this stuff existed
That PFP, though 🔥
Hercules came to sign autographs at my local mall when I was a kid!
1:04:40 "How stupid is this guy?" referring to Andre is probably the funniest thing said in any of your reviews. I laugh every single time I hear it!
couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes :))
I love going back to the OSW archives and watching the reviews that hooked me. Something I noticed today in this episode that’s really cool…
I love American Dad, and the Hulk episode is one of my favorites. 💯
You're the first person to mention it! Glad it popped ya, Real American, absolutely all-time belter. Thanks for being a fan all these years 💚
@@OSW I agree, that song is a banger! You guys are the best!
15:11 Holy moly that clothesline from Akeem on Shawn! They're talking about killing the Bossman but Shawn hits his head so hard and fast on the mat it's a wonder he survived let alone was able to wrestle on..
any other wrestler goes up on their shoulder/neck like that im calling an ambulance from my house but shawn just mighta sold like a god
Yep that looked really nasty.
Shawn could fucking bump!
i remember watching this live as a kid and that particular clothesline has always stuck with me all these years later
I love you guys! Always cheering me up after a long day, thank you for all your hard work Jay, and both Steves too!
Showing that elbow drop to a CM Punk fan should make them immediately weep. That was GORGEOUS.
Jesus Christ... Randy Savage was such a great promo guy. That beginning segment was *SO* believable. He didn't look at the camera until he said "I hate you, Hulk Hogan!!!" Chills...
3.00 Savage still thinking his shades are there, but saves it beautifully
I hated, hated, HATED, the Big Boss Man as a kid. However, after re-watching these matches, I have to admit that Boss Man was a fantastic wrestler. His bumps were near perfection and he played the roll of heel to absolute perfection. WWE is missing talent like this in its present state.
They should have never turned Boss Man Face
I think his opponents did all the work. Especially Michael's. Bossman couldn't hang with the elite
Goldberg's security is to protect the fans because Goldberg is so intense he could spear one at any time
So as to why Goldberg has bodyguards, I’ll reference the movie Predator. And since Goldberg is a right bellend who likes to break stuff, smash windows with his hand, split his head split open from bashing it into a door and giving a concussion/ ending the careers of a Hall of famer, the security team was to protect Goldberg from hurting himself and others
you guys are awesome.thanks for the uploads
Lads, I love your shows & commentary! Regarding Liz & Savage, they were married in reality, but in kayfabe Liz was just a "manager". When Savage kayfabe asked Liz to marry him & they had the "wedding" - they had actually been married already for 6 or 7 yrs & the relationship was all but over. They split & then divorced a year or so later.

B/C they want to charge us for that glitch ridden, over hyped WWE Network... no search engine on Xbox, tons of shows aren't available... they made it seem like "with the push of a button" - not so much... Glad I'm only on a trial b/c I'm leaning toward no...
The WWE should hire you two!
I love this channel so much. I love your zany editing style too. I’ve been listening and watching your PPV reviews pretty much every chance I get for the last 3 days. I’m starting to swear in Irish and call everyone “lad”......an unexpected side effect
I can't believe how comically long hogan posed after the match. It was insane!
Man you guys buried Run DMC hahaha. They weren’t great but that crowd was absolutely dead lol they didn’t do them any favors.
Makes me sad that Macho was so great but was just another guy to job to Hogan at Mania.
It was like a 20 min match were Macho had the most of the control he didn't job to him
The first audible episode. A landmark :)
Do you have the official ECW release version of Heatwave '98? Or are you reviewing the WWE edited version? I have the DVD original Pioneer Entertainment version, I can make a copy and mail it to you guys.
i'm glad i found this channel, good job fellas, oooh-yeahhh
I always saw the Goldberg security as there to protect the fans if one of them threw something at him or tried to mess with him and he snapped and went into the stands after them. Plus it does look really cool.
I still own WrestleMania V on VHS and hot damn, that opening promo by Savage is one of many reasons why he's favourite wrestler ever.
Savage's promo at the start is so fuckin' awesome.
Rockers really date the year for this. But they were such a great tag team. I think Boss man was in the wrong spot. He was off center. And being off center means one of the Rockers has to jump faster, or sooner than the other. It was a botched spot for sure. But I think the blame goes all around.
"I'd rather take a beating and have a little sit down" fucking gold lol

I thought ax was underrated on the mic. He has one of my favourite voices ever. Sounds like he's downed a pint of acid

The reason Goldberg has security follow him isn't to protect him from fans, it's to protect fans from him. Weird for a babyface I know, but he's being portrayed as a dangerous, unpredictable dude who can do anything.
if Hogan were in his prime today the adult fans would absolutely shit on him. He was booked so much worse than Cena will ever be
Thanks a lot amazing to see all that :) your reviews are amazing interestng and fun:
Goldberg needs security to keep him from battering everybody in the arena.
Exactly how I always saw it. Almost like a gladiator being escorted to the arena.
Exactly. Like he's so dangerous that he could go off at any time on anybody.
@@advocatefish3562 I'm years late but gladiators were slaves, yeah? Wouldn't the guards be trying to keep them from running?
