Awesome tutorial 🌺😍❤️
I have watched SOO many tutorials on big stitch binding but yours is the best! You include so many little details that other folks don't (such as the movement of your hands where you twist them a bit when holding the fabric). Thank you so much for including all the steps from starting to finishing. I've bookmarked this for future reference!
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial! I absolutely love the cactus fabric you made your quilt from! Thank you again ❣️
Wonderful and thorough tutorial! Thank you very much!
Those little corner x’s are sooooo adorable! Thank you for sharing!
Wonderfully clear! I hope you'll add a big stitch quilting video. The quilting in your sample is lovely.
I’m wondering if you ever use the big stitch binding on the front of a quilt, especially one that you quilted with big stitches? I am enjoying your channels and love the hand quilting tips. ❤ Thank you.
Thank you for making this wonderful tutorial. You made the process of big stitch binding a little less intimidating. I love the look of the big stitch binding and I really like the way you stitched the little x’s in the corners. I can’t wait to get started! Thanks again :o)
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful!
Just found you! This was such an easy to understand, calming tutorial. I learned quite a few new to me tricks. Hope you'll keep posting. 🧡
Very good! I have watched this video several time getting my nerve to big stitch the binding. I just watched your 'modified blanket stitch' video and I think I'm going to try that one. I've been practicing on a sample quilt sandwich. Thanks for your inspiration and clear instruction. Love the video angle. I feel I'm right there with you watching every move.. LOL
great video. i just finished hand binding a baby blanket for my brothers first child. thanks you so much, very informative!
I would love a video showing the beginning to end of you making a quilt! Love your videos! ♥️
Great tutorial, thank you. I’m going to use that technique today as I hand sew a facing to the back of my quilt!
Lovely stitches, really like this look because I wanted to try a more decorative way of binding instead of the usual hiding it, thank you!
So glad I found you! I am doing my first ever sewing project which is a rather large quilt (foolishly ambitious) which is 100% hand sewn. I am just finishing the last 6” of big stitch quilting right across the will start on the 4” binding using the backing. I was wondering if I could do a big stitch on the binding. Now I know. Thank you very much.
I’m totally going to get into big stitching. It’s so cute looking. I do want to know where you got your cactus fabric. 😍 and I would love to see the whole front and backing of this quilt. I’m completing new to quilting. I just started my first, QAYG quilt. I’m probably going to add some big stitches to some or all of the pieces. 🤓
A wonderful tutorial, thank you!
Beautiful stitches, love this look!!! ✂️🧵❤️
I love this idea! thanks for sharing all these tips!
First time doing this! This tutorial was great! Thank you for putting together!
My goal is to do this for my next binding. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness. Another well-explained tutorial! Clear and concise! You're such a great teacher. Thank you! So you always use a single thread? Do some people double it for other reasons? Thought I saw that from other tutorials.
This quilt is just amazing! I love these fabrics so much. Can you share where you bought them from? Thanks so much!
Really nice and helpful video! Thank you. Do feel that big hand stitches hold us as well? I’m not sure if my stitches are tight enough but the thread breaks if I pull much tighter.
If I have a queen size bed what would I use to hand quilt it?
I will tried it in my granddaughter quilt. My question is would the stitches stay ?
