Found a pair of boots like this at a just for men's store for $15. Stopped wearing them because they were painful and I felt bad for all of the military guys who had to wear them. I tried one boot the way you showed and the other normal, your way is so much better I may actually wear them now.
Thanks dude! I hurt the sole of my left foot badly in an accident yesterday, and try to Get outside now, removing the cushion sole and trying your tip 😊 Greetings from Norway!
As a new basic graduate I've bought a new pair of boots for AIT and was looking for a comfortable way to lace them this video helped a lot, thank you ssg
Well you taught this old Jarhead a lesson. I purchased a new pair of Garmont T8 NFS 670's which got pretty good reviews. I had them on for a few hours and had some uncomfortable spots. Re-lacing them per your video makes their fit like night and day. Thanks, and "Thank you for your service".
This video has saved me the struggle and pure rage when I'm trying to get my boots off, in an out of customers houses it's a dream.. Couldn't thank you enough... Cheers
Wow, you Mister get one good deed added to your entry-to-Heaven list. I have that bone issue on my right foot, which has always been an painful problem when wearing my Belleville boots. I followed your procedure, well . . . suffice it to say, it is a miracle. It is like I had surgery on that bone and the protrusion was shaved away. P.S. My dog's happy too because now I'm in a better mood and able to go on longer walks (90 minutes instead of one hour).
the more you use your feet the more they swell and flatten . if your feet are "cold" tie them abit loose so you have space to swell once they are "warm"
I found this video a long time ago and it helped me out so much, not military but harvest time work 12 hour days no days off type deal. Not doing that anymore now I am in manufacturing boom lifts and scissor lifts and just got a new pair of boots and thought man it's kinda hurting my foot and remembered your video so looked it back up. Lifesaver your lacing method
When I first joined the army, I had an infantry drill he was really hard on us but I always had alot of respect because I could see he wanted us to become great soldiers and he wasn't just doing it to be a as§hole or just wanting to fùck with us although there was definitely alot of smoke and pain it was all worth it in the end but he got onto me once for having loose bootlaces and I he told me you should always have your laces good and tight so you don't roll your ankle he demonstrated trying to roll his and then asked me to do it and I almost rolled my ankle just trying to demonstrate and he said see that's why so I always kept them really tight not enough to cut off circulation but nice and tight but this setup is really nice idk if it will still save you from rolling your ankle though
Holy shit am I grateful. I’ve got weird club feet, with a giant bony protruding portion on top. If my laces are tight it can pinch and cause pain. Much better
I bought a pair of Belleville boots 390 hot weather I’m regularly 8.5 so I got those and were too big now I got the 8 wide and something happened when the boot it’s lace up the heel feels like a bit lose that happens with the army boots usually?
Hey sir, I've never been in the military, But I've been struggling to find good socks. What are the issue green socks that you had ? What material are they made out of? would be very glad if you can tell me about it :)
amzn.to/3yj6YXt The socks I wear are in the link. They're what I've been wearing every day for the last 19 years of service. They will not shrink, do not make my feet or boots stink like the Fox River socks did.
@motosuwahideki1 Try the same eyelet skipping method he is using in the area where you are experiencing your pain and see if that helps and if you're not in the military try using other methods of lacing your boots entirely. there are many methods and some are for style but personally I only use different methods for efficiency in different things that I may be doing at the time. There are many different ways you can lace your boots and many methods are for different purposes so for example if you were going to go hiking you would lace your boots differently than if you were just going through your normal daily activities.

Brilliant, just laced a pair of side zip combat boots, before I couldn't get my foot in with them laced, now they're great. Good job
Best advice for 2022 and a lifetime. Thanks for the knowledge

Thx dude im in the cadets and my boot feel more comfortable even if they are too small
Thank you that was helpful. Specially for flat footed people like me.
I can't tell you how much of my time in the Army was spent trying to figure out how to make my issued gear not hurt me.
Man im glad i found this. You sure helped me out with my Bellevilles sir. Salute
Thank you very much Sgt. My Altbergs have never been so comfortable
You're welcome. It really changed the way my boots felt when I started wearing them that way so many years ago. Still lace my boots this way today.

Should try lacing with a bar pattern comfortable and good if you need to get your boots off fast. Easy to cut em off

@@carlosleonardogomezhidalgo1573 yes, the heel isn't that tight on military boots unless you make them super tight or buy more expensive brands.
Just laced my Belleville steel toed boots like that, so far so good. Got any tips for the Belleville Mountain combat 950?
I hated wearing the mountain boots.
Thanks!

My boots pinch just above my ankle and hurts like hell how do I get that to stop?
Try skipping an eylet where the pain is. Might help, if not, it could be the boots.
