Actually the J-7D has the late mig-21 airframe, the f-13 airframe is only used on the 7E

The 7E uses an improved double delta design. The 7II uses the f-13 airframe

I learned top tier in this thing, after completing the Chinese tech tree solely with Air to air combat, I unlocked the last plane in the tree and had a 63% win rate in it, which if I must say, isn’t too shabby for a mig21 at 11.0. MiG21s have grown on me and I grew a love for delta wings lol

1:18 nah it's not an F-13, and I feel like comparing its full thrust/weight is a little ambiguous. The J-7D's TWR is 1.04, the same as the MiG-21SMTs.

Just out of curiosity, why recommend the PL-5B over the PL-7?

Engine burns out quicker so you cant see the diamond for as long

PL7 is more flare resistant and pulls more Gs. But Pl5B is just so much faster and it accelerates like crazy. You can get kills sometimes because the enemy simply didn't expect it to go that quick and didn't flare in time. however it is a one flare in most scenarios. I use 2 PL7 and 2 PL5B in my lineup
