Top notch interview again Chance, you have a natural knack for doing this. I found Steve’s channel last year. I am working feverishly to find all the Steve’s in the VC s I can have a Revolution and take over the VC from the Mike’s. It will happen. I do a lot of BBQ places in my travels, I do miss that part of travel.
Steve Herold is the real deal. The guy definitely knows his S#$t. He takes a deep dive into the obscure and pulls out some real gems. His show is great, and I've learned a lot about bands I've never heard of but should have. He even sent me a few CDs during "the great purge' which was much appreciated. Loved the Podcast and Steve was a great guest!
Wow that was a fantastic interview - that went by quick. Steve Herold is the best. Love his channel, his honesty, his passion and he's funny as hell too. That was awesome.
You guys are so funny together. Great thoughts at the end about streaming, Steve brought up some good questions about how the general public views streaming and if they care about owning their music.. will they keep streaming with the rising cost? Some of my friends who loved music say they just don’t listen to it anymore.. what’s a world w out music… 😢 lol all deep. Another great podcast episode
Who is that guy ? Hehe 😉Steve's the best of the best ! I like that fact that he is a film editor professionally, and he doesn't overdo it on his channel. I love his presentation, especially being able to read the track listing on the albums he shows, and all of the bands are generally flat-out cool ! It was good having Steve visit me recently..
@@madvinylnyc7821 hahah glad u agree. seems people always rave about that place but usually avoided it at all costs. i gotta get you a second coming shirt man so you can join me and alan’s “club” haha.
Chance, I must commend you for the self-control you exhibited during this video. First, the fact you actually talked to a CD collector...without being condescending... Second, you maintained your composure when Steve said he was a fan of the LOS ANGELES Rams... and third, and most importantly, when Steve complained about paying $50 for an out-of-print CD, you somehow managed not to leap out of your chair, grab a nearby Ultradisc One-Step and scream into the camera, "$50?? I paid $150 for this motherf***ing thing...and I already have three other copies of the same album!!!!!" I'd tip my cap to you, sir, but it hot & cloudless here in Nikeland, so I'm not willing to risk the sun-stroke. Karl
Hahahahahaha. Well Karl, what you can’t see on camera is the squeeze/stress ball device I’m using to maintain my composure. Looks like Gumby. Can’t let them see you sweat! Happy Mothers Day to the ladies in your life sir! Appreciate you giving this video a spin✌🏻

Your collection of Steve’s in the community is almost as impressive as your collection of records. Almost 😂. Have a great day my friend!
now ya tell me. i just legally changed my name to Mike

i can understand people not buying music but i could never understand not listening anymore.
@@STEVEHEROLD right!!
Nice interview. I like his collecting style. Buy albums to enjoy the music and not important to have the most valuable or first pressing.
Sage advice for sure! Thanks for watching this one Catherine! Have a great Sunday!
thanks catherine!
@@STEVEHEROLD You are welcome 😊
Loved the interview! Nice to hear people are still buying Cd's.
Thanks man! Great pickups in your last two videos. Don't remember if I commented or not, but BIG thumbs up!
Thank you my friend, I really appreciate it!
i love my vinyl but i’ll never give up on my CDs!

@@jtsrecordroom3963 is it OK if i pay you in original UK pressings this time?
That'll do ! They're worth more !
I havent run across Steve's channel but will certainly check it out. I want to see his cd collection.
He’s got a lot even after his recent purge. And still hunting 😎. Thanks for spending time on this one Buddie!
Cool stream.. Late for me but thx Chance
Thanks Stevan. Would love to see a video recapping your visit with Dr Robert. I saw his; where’s yours? 😁
@@ConcertBuddie I'll pop some stuff later.. Did my own 2 hour stream last night with Keith on the big BEACH Boys week and other.. Kinda tired today.
Tell the truth, Steve! Now you come to Los Angeles for VCS Churros! 😂 Great guest Chance! Steve is a cool guy with a fun channel.
Thanks amigo! Be careful on invites involving food - challenge accepted! 😁

I got killer records at Second Coming. Right around the block from Bleecker Bobs

never cared for bleeker bob’s. but that area was so great for records back in day. not so much anymore.
Bobs was a rip off. $100+ 7” even in the 80s
