In my case the NVC emailed me that they prepared an interview appointment for me and the US embassy in Jerusalem will contact me but it’s been already a week and I didn’t hear from them and I didn’t receive the welcome letter . How long does usually takes before i hear from US embassy?

Hi mam, we was already got a approved letter with my case number about 2 months ago, and when we checked our case showing is ready , then I was trying to login in ceac but I don't have the invoice ID number as I need to login so I was emailed the NVC and finally they sent me that after 3 days after I emailed, and from last more than 7 days I'm trying to login in ceac there are something about ds-160 to fill and I did , but there is no summary about my case or any information like how to submit the documents, fill application, pay fee and schedule a medical and visa interview, and we still didn't get any welcome letter or any instructions or also not any packet 3 and packet 4 from the NVC or embassy 😢 so please help me that what we have to do with this situation mam 🙏

What does it mean when it changes from refused to ready after your interview and they said it was under administrative review?

@@podcast4516 i submitted the documents then it changed from refused to ready, then to administrative processing and finally issued! All took a little more than a month

@@jmodel1879 it changed in a week and I had it on hand that same week.. yours is about to change as long as you were approved at the embassy .

They never sent mine . I had to email them. Better off doing that
What is the email
My husband had his interview on May 24th, 2024 and I checked the CEAC and the status says Ready. It was last updated the day we had the interview and nothing after. A man he met had an interview the same day and already received his email that his visa is ready to pick up. Should I be worried? Please respond, I'm freaking out. Thank you so much! We already booked our plane ticket, which now I know was stupid. Looking forward to your response.

What about APPROVED meaning?
Since Feb.7 the case status of my parent in law is Ready… we haven’t receive a welcome letter from the us embassy in Philippines. How ling does it take? we are worried… we cannot make interview appointment unless we received the welcome letter

Hey i got (k1 ) my welcome letter and ready status. But i dont have invoice ID to the pay visa. Do fiance suppose to fill out the ds 160 and for my future daughter too. Can i do it for fiance? And how do i set the interview and medical exam ?
Same here too, my case said ready too and now waiting for welcome letter for the invoice number to move forward
Hi i see my “immigration visa” status also shows “Ready” for K1 fiance visa. I haven’t received any paper “welcome letter”. However, i received an email saying that NVC has received my application and will be forwarded to embassy at my Fiancé’s country…is this the welcome letter? what is the next step? Should I expect a “welcome letter”? Don’t i need to fill ds160? (Or is it ds260?) and what about the affidavit of support etc?
And in previous inquiry they said: “Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission” what does this even mean?

For k1 in Nigeria..i have been ready since September do i have to submit anymore documents online and wait for documentatily ready before interview ?
my status is still 'READY', after our interview. Our passports have been given back to us at consulate, and VO said, it went to administrative processing. Any idea on this ?

Sir my US Visa B1/B2 refused in interview and i was served with 214b letter, But the CAEC System is displaying my status as "Refused" under 221G.
sir should i rely on the paper given during interview which was 214b refusal or should i rely on CAEC portal status? which is Refused for Administrative Process?

My k1 case was ready so I filled the ds-160 while waiting for the interview instruction email. I checked my case the next day and the status is refused. How can a case be refused without an interview?
because you are supposed to wait until the embassy send you the instructions as to what you need to do next. My K1 visa just became ready August 8 so now we are waiting for the Embassy to send us instructions letter to let us know that we can now pay the fees and file the DS 160.

I had my f2a interview on friday, and the VO gave me approved paper and said congratulations. On same day when I came home, its status changed to administrative process and now after 2 days it is in ready status. Should I be worried?
