I’m only a sophomore in highschool and I didn’t do as good as I wanted to freshman year so I wanted to learn more tips to studying also I wanna be a pediatric nurse after highschool and go to nursing school so these tips were very helpful thankyou
I love how you are so honest! I am on my second year of NS and also noticed that the readings are sometimes a waste of time.... I am a visual, kinetic learner..so sitting there and reading does not help at all! Thank You for all your tips! You're awesome!
Great video! I just graduated high school and I absolutely love Khan Academy. I will be entering nursing school in the fall of 2019 and I am looking around for the best tips to get ready for what I know will be challenging. Thank you so much for your insight and advice!
Hello :) I just found your channel and honestly I binge watched what you have so far. I am currently sitting my last set of exams for year 12 and hoping to become a nurse/ paramedic :) this will help me in general studies and it has given me motivation to keep moving forward. Even if the road is hard. Thank you!!
awww thats so sweet!!!! you made my day, literally! honestly, yes t's definitely a challenge, but t's so worth it in the end!! keep going, you got this!
Youre so great! Cant wait to watch all your videos! Im a nervous incoming nursing student (about to be a junior at a 4 year university in the Nurs program and we begin nursing classes this fall. Thanks for all your tips !
These are super great!!! Like omg I'm gonna do what u suggested for us to get, annnnnd GET 'EM!!!!! and I love concept maps!!! Great tips!!! LUV 🤩ya! 😘 you rock!!! Thanks again for all these tips, I'm such a visual learner! But I also have to write it down, then say it, then have someone repeat it back to me to get the stages of retaining information. Also, if you get a study buddy you- just two people-can quiz each other until you both answer every question correctly. But make a rule only focus on what we're working on, so no texting, emergency calls are ok. But stay focused! You'll learn more that way, and better! Then form a study group! Whoever wants to join-but it's best if it's not huge, like try to keep it to 10, mauyyyyyyyybe 15-TOPS (cuz if a study group gets too large, you can't really study as much as you need to/ should) Also at the study group there should be rules like no texting and say we're only here to do school work not socialize. And then all ask each other stuff or maybe have one person ask the group a question, then take turns asking questions and pass the question asking around the room until everyone's had a turn to ask. Maybe repeat it depending on what the material is to be studied, or needs to be repeated once, twice, as many times as it takes! Happy nursing or studying to become one, if you aren't already!👋🏻
Awesome tips, getting ready to start another semester of my nursing program and these tips are very much appreciated. From just one semester, Ive learned so much about effective habits to study more efficiently and I believe these tips will help even more!
Absolutely loved this video! I just came across your channel today and so far I am LOVING the content! I currently am a Medical Assistant working in Internal Medicine but I am looking to go back to school to get my BSN. I took my TEAS exam on Friday for an entrance exam to a nursing school near me and I passed! I’m super excited and nervous to go back to school so this video really helped me!
I just finished this semester where I have 3 lecture days from 8am-6pm (6:30 at the latest) and 2 duty days in ward/ OR setting for 2 terms... 2 lecture days and 3 days in psych institution for the final term... Now I'm in my 2 vacation before my summer intensification starts (5 days duty) and I'm an incoming 4th year nursing student... WHY... Why didn't I think of looking at nursing vlogs when I was in first year (and khan academy) I'll try to save my last years with this tips~

This was so so helpful, thank you for this. I'm in an advanced RN program in the US and it's stressful, I cant handle a part time job at the same time. I am not doing good on exams anymore but I'm definitely trying out your tips! :) I wish I saw this before nursing school

Awesome video! I just got accepted into 2 year COC Nursing program here in Southern California! Super excited and a little nervous..anything you wish you would've known prior to going into nursing school, like as far as preparing or lifestyle changes to pre adjust to? Thanks for your time!
Congrats!! There's so much i wish i could have known i could probably make an entire video about it haha! Be prepared to work you ass offff, studying most days of the week and make sure you stay super organized and on top of things! Nurses do and know SO much more than i initially thought, and it can get quite overwhelming at times, but in the end it's so worth it!!! :)

Just a quick question for the wonderful nurses out there. How excepting would the nurses in the field be of a middle age man being a nurse? I am strongly considering a career change were I could help people in a direct way and take care of my family.
you'd be surprised at how many middle-aged people are in nursing school! Personally from my experience, we were all very accepting towards everyone since we are all on this new journey together :)
frank karr it is great! Do it. I have seen male nurses who are in their mid 30-40s . I met this nurse, he told me he used to be a business men but he decided to be a nurse because he didn't enjoy it.
Great video very informative! Do you Know anyone in your classes who study with the use of index cards? I use flash/index cards for my studying now that seems to help. But I feel like in nursing school I won't be able to use flash cards since it's just so much information

hi +Justine G.Feather, im new here to your channel and am loving your videos. 😊 i know you are a visual learner? do you have any tips for a kinesthetic/ tactile learner? or of anybody who is a kinesthetic/ tactile learner and have some tips?
I was talking to my friend and she was telling me how when she draws something (usually patho) she remembers it right away, I think that could be considered kinaesthetic learning, whereas when i draw it i have to look at it for a while before it sinks in! Hope this helped a bit :)
I heard it only takes like 2 years in U.S.A to be a nurse, and I was scared because it's a really difficult career and if you don't do your job properly you can damage a person's organ, extremity, or even kill that person so it's amazing to know it's not like that in all United States. In my country it's over 5 years.
