I think that's reasonable, compared to the current 1250GSA. The clutch lever should be replaced with a rear brake lever.

But if you spec them up it’s a completely different thing. My Tramuntana with luggage was £25k. Having said that I couldn’t be happier with mine. I’ve had zero issues whatsoever. It’s my first GS and I’m glad I didn’t wait for the Adventure as I really don’t like the looks at all. I do feel that new design concepts are a good thing and you are never going to design a bike that everyone will love.

They really doubled down on stupidity.. Bizarre design similar to a Ford F150 and no clutch.
At least with that styling it will stop the thieves from bothering to nick them.

BMW Motorrad seems to have employed the same design team as they did for the cars. Look at what they did to the M2. Used to be such a beautiful car.

I think the loops and hooks on the bike are there incase you drop it. It enables either a helicopter ( twin rota I assume) or a number of engine hoists to lift it back up. Obvious I would of thought Chris 🤷

There was a good few years where bikes looked really good and stylish.....i think we're out of that time.
It’s hideous…. I had cataract surgery two days and the pain had nearly gone. One look at that hideous machine has bought it back. Put them all in the skip immediately.
I suspect a crashed one would look better than an uncrashed one😂
It was a long wait but at least now I can tick it off my wishlist.
People usually hate the styling every time the GS is redesigned, but I'm curious if people will ever warm up to this new style.

All that matters is the sales numbers. The 1200 with asymetrical headlights was considered ugly on release. And then went on to outsell the competition. The people will decide.
I think the 1300GS looks really good and aside from weird nostalgia for the headlight, haven't heard too much negative. This is just weird because it's a box on wheels.
I know, people buy and wear Crocs' so who knows.
I really doubt it.

I know it is difficult to want to say what goes through your head and heart when you see this monstrosity. but your contained laughter and face have said it all. You have been a very good professional but feelings cannot be completely hidden. This is how harakiri is becoming a premium brand.

BMW have obviously taken their square styling queues from the WW2 Kettenkrad or Kettenkraftrad- The tracked motorcycle you will have seen on Saving Private Ryan that the Americans called the Rabbit. - Its only taken 70 years to replicate "ugly"!

As far as the extra “Hoops” on the crash bars, I bet they’re there to more resist rolling over on its side to protect the bike, since they’re aren’t any upper crash bars like previous Adventure GS’s.

I noticed they are as wide as the cases, my guess is that they help the rider decide if the bike will fit in certain gaps or not (if the bars fit, the cases would fit too).

100% agree, however I think the 1940s Buck Rogers with Buster Crabbe where the spaceships looked like flying bread toasters. This BMW GSA tank looks like that. Disaster.

The design of this bike is absolutely horrendous. I’d take the silver panels off and spray them Matt black probably . They’ll make one and call it black edition and charge a few grand more.
22 R1250GSA owner here and I am proud to say for the first time in my life I am not at all excited to sell or upgrade my bike to the newest model. Until 2 factors happens. 1. I pay off my bike. 2. They change the headlight. Otherwise my bike is far to sexy lol.

Looks a bit like the Harley Davidson. Considering they were quick to adopt the ride height system, maybe they had a bit of a crush on that bike / concept.

The hoops on the tank are for the compulsory tarpaulin, the same as on a builders skip

The old Honda step through’s had a gearbox like that years ago. I quite enjoyed mine.
