I just got this addon and was trying to figure out how to use it. I was looking at real life videos yesterday and saw you comment in one of them and thought it would be nice if you could create a video about it. And would you look at that, here's a video. Thank you. Clear and concise as always.
Hello, thanks for this video. I also have the Vision Jet and a problem I wasn't able to solve yet. I create my flightplan in Simbrief, then load it in the sim. Usually the departure is already loaded but never the arrival, which makes sense. Now, on my way to the destination I want to select the appropriate arrival and approach, which I can, I select it and then LOAD, but as soon as I ACTIVATE it, the whole flight plan seems to disappear, at least on the map display, there is no magenta line anymore, and only the arrival that I selected. Why does it always delete the magenta line? Without this, I don't know what the exact route is anymore. Any ideas what would cause this or what I am doing wrong. Thanks for your help!
Question for you, if you add a flight plan, say ifr, and there is no approach plate available like on foreign airports, how do you get the altitude info as you come in for your approach
I’m just a flight-simmer and am still very very new to all of this but, if I input all of the information will it help with auto-pilot? Not trying to be lazy flyer just wanted to know if that works like that. Thanks in advance for your awesome content.
This is in theory easier these days as you can import from Simbrief. But what I can't figure out is how to set my cruise altitude? EG my plan is filed for FL240 but I can't find where to set that anywhere. In the 750 unit for example, I would open the flight plan, click options, and enter the cruise altitude. I can't find that in the G3000 anywhere. I've tried setting on of the enroute points as having a restriction of FL240 but that doesn't seem to flow down properly so I'm not certain that is the correct method.
This works with any of the MSFS aircraft that use the G3000 (the TBM930, Citation Longitude, etc.). Also, working title makes an improvement mod for the G3000 that adds a ton of functionality and is well worth the download (it’s free!!!)
The cirus vision jet is amazing
Great tutorial, thank you for taking the time to go through this! Love the info.

I'd pronounce KREME like cream, as in Krispy Kreme, but that's just me 🍩

One option is using Little Nav Map. When you create a flight in it, you get to see the optimal glide path and get the reference altitudes from there.
Great video, thank you for this!

Isn’t there a way to sync the flight plan from ForeFlight or is that another video?
Weird issue - the lower screens are all black ?? Just downloaded from Marketplace MSFS. Cant light them up / turn on ?
regards

Thats not "loading" a flight plan, its "entering" a FP - might leed to some confusion
I didn't know that the database, in the G3000 of stored runways was global.
