Unless you've done a resto or heavy mod, a person cannot grasp the mental and physical toll it takes. Dare I say, whoever won the car, please don't take it lightly. I promise I'm not sure I could do all that to turn around and give it away. Ok yes, 'a youtube channel'. That doesn't change a thing, all the labor and stress is still very real. Sad to see the TT go. But I’m loving the bug. My first car was a VW bug a real old one 1964 i also raced an FV and Super V so very familiar with these cars and engines. With the amount of care and passion you put into your work and your vehicles, it’s no wonder you get attached. Once you name them it’s all over but the crying 😭
I was thinking that being a German car, the TT would throw one last check engine light. As for the VW, because on the extensive body styling changes they were always making to these, it could be extremely difficult to find those fenders.
Jeez Sarah is there anything mechanical you can't do. I'm so impressed. Teared up too when Teeter Tot left. I used to have the Cabriolet version of that same car and miss it daily. Audi TTs get under you skin. Really enjoyed this one.
