The reason pool has become so boring to watch is that too many pros never try a tough shot but play safe instead. The owner of the pool room where I play most of the time told me he almost never goes for a combination or bank shot, preferring to shoot cut shots. Then he moans when I or another player go for a difficult shot and win the match. As the old saying goes, "No guts, no glory."

I knew someone would call this out. I actually don't think that that was a purposeful shot though. With the high english he was definitely trying to hit the 9 ball, but he was probably going for the 9 directly in the corner pocket. It was incredible nonetheless.
Efren made a lot of shots no other legends dare to take. Fluke is part of this game everyone else surely do. Strickland quipped efren has got a lot of fluke but also is a talented cue master. Unintended pots should not be included in this 'forever' thing coz efren has countless of master shots executed to perfection.
If you are a casual fan of the game, you will never appreciate that shot. I my self doubted Efren how he controls the cue ball and thought it was a fluke but once I researched about Efren I learned that he plays Three Cushion in the 60s and 70s, I instantly became a believer.. hail the GOAT of pool!

Efren made a lot of shots no other legends dare to take. Fluke is part of this game everyone else surely do. Strickland quipped efren has got a lot of fluke but also is a talented cue master. Unintended pots should not be included in this 'forever' thing coz efren has countless of master shots executed to perfection.

If you are a casual fan of the game, you will never appreciate that shot. I my self doubted Efren how he controls the cue ball and thought it was a fluke but once I researched about Efren I learned that he plays Three Cushion in the 60s and 70s, I instantly became a believer.. hail the GOAT of pool!
What made him the goat, not his brain or eyes or hand he is the GOAT because he is a humble man.
