My impressions, I own this saw, and the CS 620, and I will say that both perform as good if not better than any Husqvarna or Stihl I have ever ran or owned. This coming from a 30 year Husqvarna Operator....lol I actually prefer the CS 620 on steep ground in the woods because it is lighter, and more ergonomic, and outstanding with a 24" bar and chain in land clearing, and small to large Timber. I do run the 7310 with a 32" bar for large Timber, and stumpage, etc. No power issues, and very rugged and reliable!
I Have alot of respect for Echo products. I used to fix saws for a company, their workers abused the hell out of every thing they owned They had one Echo saw, bought used I think , that saw worked and was more durable than all the others I didn't have to see it too often.

I'd well believe that my dad bought an ECHO cs60s in 1974 second hand and the only thing that went was the ignition coil in the late 90,s and even today its still runs great, he recently found another one local were trying currently to establish what year its from ,we run husqvarna saws and sthil to but nothing like the sound of an old echo 👍

glad too see it out prototype had to be sent back. about 4 moths later our shop got the flagship and it runs good just ported it and see atleast a 20% increase in power cant wait to see what else echo makes for the bigger bore saws the cs 800 was a dog till ported. really woke that 80 cc up. keep the good work up boys
You should do a video of porting this saw. And then show it rip when it is done. Seems all the Echo's are a bit of dogs, until opened up. But if modded, run great, fast, and are solid.
@@blanko8463 will do I will have to get a vid of stock one I actually am uploading one of the 7310p ported right now we have two clips there is a huge airflow problem after being ported it took alot of mods to the top cover to make it want to run good with it on. Now has a hi airflow filter and all restrictions have been removed still looks like a stock saw was worried we would have to cut a hole in it or just run it without the cover

Assuming that this is replacing the CS-800. I tried to purchase a CS-800 last month and found they were discontinued by Echo. I try to use only Echo so I interested on seeing this saw available in the US soon.

I've used echoes for years now and have had good luck with them, my question is does it have the standard carburetor or the self tuning carburetor? Like the husqvarna and stihl. If it does, I'm all over it and can't wait!

I have the 620p and the 400. The 400 is one heck of a saw and I love the 620. Just because of the weight, i find myself grabbing the 400 more often. For big trees, you cant beat the 620 though.

Нужно взять десяток пил каждой марки и отработать на них по несколько тыс литров бензина, тогда станет ясно.
Но могу сказать одно-те кто работает эхо- не переходят на штиль, а те кто работает на штиле-с удовольствием переходят на эхо. Еще ни разу не видел чтобы те у кого эхо была на работе потом купили другую пилу кроме эхо, хотя до этого были и хуски и штили. (У самого нет эхо, только штили)

For real, echo/shindaiwa have so many mouth watering options overseas in their saw lineup specifically. The fact they aren't going to auto-carb BS I've become a huge fan of Yamabiko products lately
My 2 year old Stihl can't even get through 2 full tanks of gas before it "gets tired" and won't run anymore until the next day. Been like that since new.

Brand new saw.... still has the standard On/Off switch... Does it at least reset to the ON posistion?
don't know. Don't usually buy a chain saw based on the on/off switch. But a simple toggle is far superior to any thing else I have used. And cheap and easy to replace.
Its a simple design. Not no stupid switches like stihl junk

I don't know why everyone feels the need to port a saw , if anything maybe open up the muffler a bit and leave it stock . As soon as you start all the modding you can kiss it's service life goodbye .

Если деревце это не спилить вовремя , то его съедят короеды на корню . Поэтому в Скандинавии дают 8 лет на уборку спелого леса . Иногда меньше . И будь обязан посади новый . А не спилить вовремя , получи штраф , а лес переведут в реестр переспелых . А такой купят лишь на дрова )))

@@user-cm1lb3fr4g , это физически невозможно сделать . Например ёлку грибок жрёт изнутри , получается ситная ель . Тут ещё от климата делянки зависит . В целом для хвойных 70 лет , плюс минус . Лес должен обновляться постоянно . Лесоруб и лесник - лучший друг леса ( финская пословица ) . Кстати , тоже самое относится и к рыбе . Рыбу надо постоянно и в правильных объёмах вылавливать , иначе она станет мелкой , будет вырождаться . Мелкую сорную рыбу надо вылавливать беспрерывно . Вот этим в Финляндии всегда правильно занимаются и потому у нас тут рыбалка и охота лучше , чем в Карелии . И лес возобновляется через 70:лет , а не через 130 ))
А вальщик то не профессионал. Хоть бы уже нашли специалиста нарядили. Да он пилу первый раз в руки взял. Очень НЕ удачная реклама.

While Stihl is finally bringing fuel injection to commercial saws Echo is just building the same stuff they did 40 years ago but with more plasdick. Id rather just get my 1980 EVL750 rebuilt before buying one of these.
This thing is made out of magnesium buddy, what are you rambling about? Some people just want normal carbs and don't care about cookie cutting and max power per weight. The price reflects that, its way cheaper than a 500i. They're not even in the same class, as this saw pulls max a 28" and a 500i can go 36-42", same as 90cc saws.

Stihls are junk anymore. They last a few years and you throw them away. They mark the price of parts up so you will buy there new junk that will break in a year or two. Have fun when that mother bored gets wet or the injector needs replaced. Echo is keeping it old school with the adjustable carb.
@@Jv19979 I agree. Stihl isn't what they used to be. I was initially looking to buy a Stihl until I did my research. I'd personally buy a Husqvarna before I would a Stihl. But my #1 choice is hands down Echo. I own an Echo 620P and 501P. Excellent chainsaws! I also own a Husqvarna 440e. It's got the 3 screw carb and bar nut instead of that tool-less crap. It's a nice chainsaw too for what it is. But it's not in the same league as my Echo's.

This Chinaberry tree had two trunks. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 The wood is soft and rotten and the trees are hazardous when they tower over your house. The first trunk was actually healthy and about 16 inches diameter. I had to push a little when making the face cut at an angle because the wood was still healthy and strong. This thing barely slowed down and just chewed right through fast. The trunk did not fall in the direction I wanted but it missed the power lines so I guess I did OK. The second tunk was pretty rotted. It was exactly the diameter of the blade, 18 inches. The first pass made a perfect face cut on the first try. I was getting good at cutting with this saw. Unfortunately, there was so much rot that an inch or two into the back cut it just snapped. I am glad it held together long enough for that good face cut. I know I did not want to hang out under it. One strong breeze and I was a pancake. My karma must be good. The small trunk snapped a two-ton rope so I guess there were six tons of wood felled. I still need to de-limb the tree and pile up a bonfire. I look forward to it. This saw works great. It is fun to use. It cuts well.
