I saw where someone hung the Blink from the top of Super/Excluder gourd, I believe they probably used that 90 adapter and stuck the hanging rod thru the hole to suspend it. That may be the best way for a better field of view and centered in the gourd. I have Troyer horizontals, so I think it's going to be a little tricky to get it placed in a really good position.

Just found a 2 pack of outdoor for $99, includes a free mini at Best Buy...says sale ends 8/7/22 though. But I'm sure as they said, probably go on sale periodically.

How long is the 1/4” bolt? And how do you keep the orientation how you want it when you screw on the cap?

I would say not very long. It just has to go through the lid (maybe 1/8" thick) then engage into the camera a few threads. So about 3/8" long?
