Love watching this show. I am 77 years old and I keep a look-out for when it airs and watch it every time. Gives me something to do! If you are ever in Alabama you can come by and fix my front porch up and landscape around my mobile home. I will cook you some turnip greens , cornbread and home made fried chicken.💕💕💕💕💕💕

There’s another show on Magnolia that is similar to Fixer Upper. Another couple growing their family in a Texas town. Restoring Galveston with Michael and Ashley Cordray. They’re very likeable and as each child arrives they take the time to introduce them. I highly recommend it. It’s my new favorite home reno show.💗 I love their Renovations, and the banter. They have a real estate company that is actively looking for houses that survived the 1900 hurricane and flood.
Love their show❤ life is not always easy or a smooth path. He is human just like all of us. They are both very kind people and very giving.

I stumbled on their show only 6 months ago and consider it one of my favorites. I hope it lasts and lasts and lasts. I used to be a big fan of HGTV from way, way back when it first started. But not one of their present shows even comes close to Fixer Upper. And what fabulous jobs they both do with the homes they fix up…amazing…all the time. What I also love seeing so much in so many of their episodes is how they manage to be wonderful parents, often being able to get their terrific kids to participate in various tasks needing to get done in that hour’s show. Always complimenting their children on what a great job they were doing to help them, be it planting flowers, bushes, etc., staging a living room with pillows, books…and on and on and on. That entire family is an absolute delight to watch. I wish the show was on several times a week. The new ones especially. I find myself watching the repeats they show us later in the evening even though I just watched it earlier that day or week. I cannot say enough good things about that entire family, especially the parents who star in Fixer Upper. Please don’t ever stop your fabulous Fixer Upper Show…ever! PLEASE. maggiecava, Arizona.
I remember when there wasn't 'Social Media', so all the nosy tattletails couldn't put everyones personal business out where everyone could see. Everyone makes mistakes, there is not one person in the world who hasn't. Whatever mistakes Chip made, he made good on them and the good they do far out weight the bad. I loved watching their show from the beginning. Nothing will change that.

They have done a great job in their life for the fixers uppers. They also have had some hard times as the video was shown. That's natural we all have done that as well. The main thing they need to keep in mine for is to keep up their great work for the children in doing well to give them a wonderful education . ❤ Making them to learn to have a good life too like their parents. Chip's buying out their partners was business and partners didn't have to make the deal. The later paint issue was fair to all. They are a very hard working couple with warts like everyone else. They are really special people!! Bless them.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Wow America still sells Lead Paint Banned in Australia 🇦🇺 many many yrs ago
Lead paint was banned in the USA in 1978. Some older homes still have old paint on them. It is a hazard when they remodel.
It is good to watch Joana and Chip stand strong and overcome challenges. This world is full of them. For Christians and Jews alike, there will always be good and evil coming at them. So what I say is this scripture: "Watch, stand strong in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
They don't even make lead paint anymore. That's BS.
BUT old houses built before then DO have lead paint and when renovating this lead paint must be handled in ways that are safe to the workers doing the renos and, of course, the new owners and their families.
The EPA should go back on the city/county inspection agency! The inspector walks over these homes! That’s their jobs. Seems like they always go after the working people!!
Chip and Joanna, everyone admires you and the fixer up programs plus I love Magnolia station. I love everything you put on there and wonderful programs on there. They top everybody else’s. No one can keep up with you guys and thank God for people like you who really care even though you have made mistakes no one is above making mistakes all of us had made them, thank you for what you do so many of us appreciate you for everything even the mistakes because we’ve all learned from that too! If there was ever a chance that Chip and Joanna could have representatives over here doing the same thing it would be amazing! I still get their emails but can't buy anything to be shipped here😢 Nevertheless, praying they're all fine and we get their show once again. God bless them and their family❤🥰

I wish I had gone into the home renovation and real estate market when I was young. I would have been a billionaire by now. But, I prefer health over money any day.

I love the country style houses. Around the Waco area where are all the area do you all go to. We’re looking for a 5 bedroom 3 bath over 3000 sq feet with a nice large fenced yard for our dogs. We are also looking for enough space to have a 501c volunteer dog shelter to help out with the love of the baby that need homes.
Love Chip and JoAnna Gaines. Been watching them for years and I have utmost respect for Chip. He is awesome. Joanna is a doll.

Don't know if I still have the channel, I had it but had some removed because directv kept on goin up on the package I had but I'll have to look &see if I still have the channel, I always got excited when a family got to see their new house for the first time, it looked so beautiful inside and outside both.

I love their shows and how devoted they are to each other and their kids. But asuch as i like them, I dislike how they fix up a home, there's the big reveal, and unless the contestants want to pay extra to keep it furnished as it was when revealed they have to pay extra for the furnishings, alot of which Johanna has culled from her huge stash of antiques, second hand finds, and even road side rescues. IMHO it should be like the Property Brother's show where the furnishings are included, which to me seems only right since how many of the families have furnishings like was used or extra money to obtain similar furnishings. I guess it boiils down to feeling deceived by Fixer Upper
As far as paint goes- I'd use 🐻.

We’re looking to move down into the area and I would love to have them do my house for me. Besides doing a 501c dog kennel (NO KILL) shelter I also donate to Danny Thomas. I lost both of my children 32 and 33 years ago due to terminal illnesses. My dream has always been to have a 3000-4000 sq foot Victorian with a wrap around porch and master on main. 5 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. We were doing foster care and pretty much gave all our money to the kids now that there older I need to do something for me. I just don’t know where to start. Chip and Jo I need your help.
