PCSX2 makes games look so good when the PS2 was filled with jaggies and low textures!

@Ioannis Stefanakis yep just got a sonny flat panel Trinitron and the PS2 with component looks great
on an HD tv even component the games still look so bad but one thing you cannot fix is the low level polygons used in PS2 games.
They Should Re Master This Game For PS4 . Please .!!
Or remake. Here are my ideas. Imagine a remake like with Resident Evil 4, there could be room for improvement namely -
- How James Bond and GoldenEye were friends and how they joined MI6.
- How GoldenEye, Natalya Simonovna and James Bond did a mission somewhere in Sydney and later João Pessoa. Xenia Onatopp, Electra King and her henchmen were the villains in service to Dr. No.
Aria Kim, Sévérine, Ladislav Kutze and Valentin Zukovsky initially served Dr. No and later become allies of GoldenEye and fought against Dr. No's forces. However Dr. No and Electra massacred their allies, leaving Bond, Simonovna and GoldenEye. The fight became intense. Casualties - most are dead and GoldenEye lost his eye. Bond and Simonovna kill Electra.
- M disregarded GoldenEye's conditions and expect much from him.
- GoldenEye assignment in the simulation (Boss fight with Jaws)
- GoldenEye argues with M, reasoning that he did not mean to let James Bond down.
- GoldenEye leaves MI6 and Bond is upset seeing his friend getting fired.
- GoldenEye meets Goldfinger and Oddjob.
- Scaramanga, Natalya Damescu, November Halliday, and Horace "I.Q." Boothroyd I work on GoldenEye's cybernetic eye. The first property would be an advanced version of MRI Vision, which would entail - thermal vision.
- Q (John Cleese), Miss Nagai and others invent OMEN device and other weapons - Mag-Rail, Mk2 Detonator, Venom 200ml, Mamba 12g, Jackal .357, Harpoon RL, .
- Auric Enterprises
- Goldfinger and the Triad Informant
- The remaining guards of Dr. No rally from Hong Kong to Midas Casino.
- Somewhere in Hoover Dam, Xenia and Dr. No plans to attack Midas Casino.
- An enhanced Polarity Shield. A highly advanced sealing miracle granted by the cybernetic eye, that conjures a see-through barrier around GoldenEye that is capable of absorbing any projectile, electricity, explosions, and dispersing them within it (except bullets and Mag-Rail's bolts).
- Aftermath of the now deserted Midas Casino.
- Oddjob's betrayal (Boss fight, before GoldenEye throws him into the shaft)
- James Bond and Natalya Simonovna meet with GoldenEye and declare that MI6 fired them and help him at the Octopus.
- Octopus being deserted and defunct.
- Galore worrying about GoldenEye's condition since Hoover Dam to Octopus. Natalya Damescu, November Halliday, and Horace "I.Q." Boothroyd I start to have reserve about Goldfinger and discuss with Galore and Scaramanga about sending GoldenEye to Octopus.
- Bond, Simonovna and GoldenEye get to Crab Key.
- While piloting the aircraft, Bond, Simonovna and GoldenEye now won the almost great tranquility and looked at the now destroyed Crab Key. This was the time for GoldenEye to recur his thoughts. He was discharged from MI6 for the death of James Bond during a simulation and now he felt betrayed for the last time.
He suffered a number of betrayals since his first mission from Goldfinger. The Triad leader betrayed him after receiving better payment from the now departed Dr. No. Oddjob who was Goldfinger's manservant betrayed GoldenEye and those reasons were anonymous and it was something he could not figure out until now and then. Onatopp, a dark reflection of GoldenEye, employed by Dr. No as his enforcer participated in the underworld feud between her boss and Goldfinger. And now Goldfinger swiftly betrayed him after he outlived his usefulness. Or was it because of the death of Oddjob? Or for spending his money at the Octopus?
He reflected on Goldfinger’s words “Now, the rest of my plan will face into place” and realised what he meant earlier. He realised Goldfinger swiftly betrayed and abandoned him. All of the suicidal missions were his contemplation of using the enforcer as part of his larger scheme to take over the Organisation. No honour among thieves. Or so he thought. The only ones he had left were Blofeld, Scaramanga and Galore.
- Goldfinger deploys the OMEN and oxidised all those who worked in the Lair. Galore and Scaramanga flee to somewhere safe. Galore and Scaramanga communicate to GoldenEye about Goldfinger's betrayal.
- The trio band together to do a revolution in the Lair.
- Guards who formerly were in service to Dr. No explained to Bond, Simonovna about how they got in the Lair and were arrested by the Lair guards. Some were excited to get hold of OMEN XR.
- The near dying Lair guard approaches Goldfinger, stating GoldenEye finished all of them.
- Boss fight with Goldfinger who makes use of one of the battle tanks. During the boss fight, GoldenEye starts to set the OMEN device to a countdown, bringing about its completion. With Goldfinger on his knees, the three fled into a lift. Goldfinger runs to catch up with them. Too late. The OMEN's energy burst, banishing all of them to dust. The battle over.
- Natalya Damescu, November Halliday and Horace "I.Q." Boothroyd I, Bond, Simonovna and GoldenEye were escorted by Galore.
- Scaramanga and Blofeld's plans.
I think the character you play in Goldeneye: Rogue Agent is inspired by Alec Trevelyan.
My dad grew up with a bunch of the James Bond games, and so did I. He had the n64 golden eye. I had this one instead.
But for real, WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE JAMES BOND GAMES?
You’d think any of them would be rereleased or made backwards compatible by now, no?
This game was so awesome. The graphics for its time was excellent. Gun selections, taking hostages and a good (but irrelevant) storyline. Bring me back!
The nostalgia this brings me is wild. Multiplayer was my favorite to play with my dad or my cousin. Gahhh i would pay anything to relive those memories

@@o.h.x-9064 Bond appears at the very start of this mission and dies, you dingus. That's literally the driving point of the plot - you're responsible for the death of Bond and fired from Mi6.

@Charles Wetherspoon Yea, during the cutscene after the first level, you see TWO training pods open, but the other person isn't shown, and M says something to the gist of "You were directly responsible for the death of 007, MI6 has no place for tactics like yours" or something. They could have clarified it a lot if they would have made it "You were directly responsible for the death of 007 in the simulation"
If they did a remake - how about this for PS5?

There was tons of fun bugs and glitches on the blimp multiplayer map :) used to run into a barrel and launch off the map and walk the freeway with my brother in splitscreen 😭 tons of broken spots for multiplayer too.

Creo que este juego es una joya,¡desde que me lo compré me cautivó! Evidentemente tiene algunos fallos ,pero bueno, muchos juegos de más renombre también los tienen. Me llama la atención la mala propaganda que se le hizo desde el principio, parece como que alguien hubiera tenido miedo de que pudiera resultar más interesante jugar con un "villano Bond" que con el propio Bond. El juego tiene todos los ingredientes para ser apasionante y divertido....es sofisticado y elegante. Si lo has jugado alguna vez puede ser buen momento para recordarlo de nuevo y si no lo has probado nunca, dale una oportunidad... no lo menosprecies por los años que este tesoro tiene....

The only thing that "sucked" about this game was the lack of rumble in the controllers, of the ps2 and original xbox versions of this game.
