Just until a few days before he woke up there was a "crazy" nurse in the hospital that cared for the remaining patients and kept them in "good" condition until the guy that put the signs on the door showed up with his girlfriend and she tried to kill both. if you search for the walking dead all web series you might still find it. there is also one with the backstore of the bike zombie girl.
You have to remember that the concept of ''zombies'' does not exist in TWD. So at start a person would just think it's a sick person or something weird.

This show really sets itself up as a different type of zombie show right from episode one. The first zombie you see is a child, and when rick is leaving the hospital the whole time you're waiting for a jump scare because that's what zombie movies and shows typically are. This show really is more drama and suspense rather than action and shock horror, i think that's why it became such a hit.

You'll essentially know when you're dragging your feet but until then the journey is great. They just took over 10 years to make this so the writing and such really changes after so much after some time. Hope you don't feel that way and can get what you need out of it for the channel and yourselves, but even if you did cut TWD in half you'd be spending well over a year reacting to it on here haha

IMO this is why Rick thinks the little zombie girl was not a zombie because that girl grab a toy just like a normal living little girl which is very rare a zombie would do.
I tried to watch this show four times, but never felt conect enough with story to continue watching, so i usually dropped in the 4/5 episode. But last month, after a break from university i started watching again and was the best decision i did, i just love this show so much, i already started to read the HQ's and i'm so addicted to it that i serch informations about the series all the time 😂😂😂. It's one of the best shows ever, it's so envolving, brutal, touching and more.
This brought back so many memories 😢 I remember watching the show when it come out, I’ve been following it ever since. Such an amazing show and one of the only pieces of media to have made me cry multiple times (also the telltale twd games). The first few seasons are absolutely amazing. Enjoy 😊
I had coworkers urging me to watch. I wasn't interested in Zombie shows. One day flipping channels I found the first episode by accident. Not seeing the name of the show yet as the 1st few scenes played and I was hooked. 🤣 On a side note: leave your loved one a change of clothes in the hospital. poor Rick, lol

Romero never thought of the infected in his "Dead" series (Night of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and Land of the Dead) as zombies; he has said he was originally intending them to be ghouls, because at that time ghouls were loosely considered "spirits of the dead that stalk graveyards and consume the living". Hence, why Night of the Living Dead starts in a graveyard.

So it’s been about 2 months since he was shot and since the virus really took over. He gets to Atlanta the next day. People were definitely wrong about it not being gorey, but I think people are quick to dismiss it because the horror and violence of the show isn’t as important as the aspect of human nature and society, as Phil said. Couple things - In this universe, the concept of zombies and zombie media doesn’t exist. So for Rick seeing someone stumble around at first, doesn’t automatically signal zombie. Or walker, the dead, etc as they call them here. They’ll never use the word zombie. - When Rick left his hospital room, he had to move a hospital bed out the way that was blocking his door. Seems pretty logical to me that a walker probably had easier targets than someone blocked by 2 obstacles, not making any noise as well. And his section in the hospital seemed cleared out and blocked off by those doors that were chained. It was definitely luck but not totally unbelievable. - Season 1 of the show was a weird time because they had a different show runner and also weren’t totally sure if they’d get more seasons. So the rules of the walkers and their intelligence and capabilities is pretty different from the rest of the show. I wouldn’t get caught up in questioning the walkers because they’re smarter in this first season than they will be in the future. And yes they’re in Georgia! Which I love because the south is not an area that gets a lot of exposure in Sci-fi media I feel. And I love the accents lol

Starting with the average number of how many people die around the world every day, and assuming that the first victims would be taken by surprise, I’ve done the math on how fast a zombie outbreak would potentially spread in a world that never heard of zombies, and it would spread exponentially so. Within a week more than half the world’s population would be zombies.
Dont know if you guys have seen them yet, but there are these webisodes on UA-cam that cover background stories that the show ended up not covering during the official episodes. There are ones for the half of a walker next to the bike, and to explain how Rick lasted so long in the hospital.
Fun Theory Fact: its Either rick was in a Coma after all of this happening in his Head, speculated fans say, likely he is dreaming ALL OF THIS in his head and that life is still normal out there with no Walkers and society not collapsing. This is still not confirmed to anyone since Rick was not in a Coma and that he was in the Hospital for 2 Months, and 59 Days. Fans also say that he might be Hallucinating all of this in his head, as he is awake and that he is dreaming that these people are Walkers. But in the true world everyone is Normal and Human civilization still goes on. Oh yeah and for the Army helicopter. i dont know if he was hallucinating. because the group he meets tell him they didnt hear a helicopter (oh yeah theres also a lil blooper, which i dont think you can see, when Rick encounters the Horde, you can see someone in the very back drinking their water bottle if you find it on a TWD Blooper scenes)

Neither of them are close to top 2, especially TWD….a show with over 100 plus episodes and not a single Emmy…sad. The show is too long and the quality drops each season after the first 3-4 seasons. By recent times the best shows are Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot, Succession, The Bear, Dark, The Leftovers, Hannibal, The Boys, Chernobyl, Shogun, Barry, Ted Lasso, Invincible, TLOU, Severance, Arcane, Ozark, etc.

Neither of them are close to top 2, especially TWD….a show with over 100 plus episodes and not a single Emmy…sad. The show is too long and the quality drops each season after the first 3-4 seasons. By recent times the best shows are Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot, Succession, The Bear, Dark, The Leftovers, Hannibal, The Boys, Chernobyl, Shogun, Barry, Ted Lasso, Invincible, TLOU, Severance, Arcane, Ozark, etc.
Y’all should prob do multi-episode vids, Cus it’s a pretty long ride 😅

@@PhilipManzanothe biggest thing is to not watch Season 4 of Fear before Season 8 of the Walking Dead. You can go in release order, which means u can start Season 1 of Fear after Season 5 of the walking dead

I wonder if she will pick up on the massive amount of writing and directing errors the series makes 😂 LOL. This series was outstanding for making the viewer very engaged with the characters but very poor in mistakes made with the writing.

The first episode lowkey a bit of a teenage drama. I feel like the writers didn’t know where they wanted to go with it but by the second episode you’ll know what type of show it’s gonna be. Absolutely addicting.
