- Today we bring out some of the Kent TK7 Penetrator 12ga 3" 1-5/8oz 7s and put them to the test at 40 yards through the Remington 11-87 and a Remington TSS .650 choke. Was this the perfect turkey pattern? Stick around and see how it performs!

Turkey season is never over for me. This was impressive. I have never shot this one, but I had horrible results with the Kent Diamond shot. Obviously, this is much different than lead. Thanks for testing it.
They have been surprisingly good shells, that's for sure
Pretty much perfect! Patterns great out of my Carlson's .670 normal turkey choke. Super happy I bought 10 box's of these before they got discontinued.

Even if this combination was the perfect turkey pattern, I don't think these shells are still sold. The Kent website no longer lists them. I don''t mind seeing the pattern of an obsolete round, but I would like that stressed up front. Impressive doesn't mean much if you can't buy them.
They are not still sold unfortunately. We have mentioned that in a previous test or two with them, but I guess I didn't say anything in this one
@@matttyreeoutdoors That makes sense. It's too bad they aren't still made, because they are most likely better than their current turkey load. Hevi-shot only has a density of 12. So 15 was much better than lead.
Also are these shells still being offered?
