- Our friend Tony brought us another car to 'bag - this one is a really nice 1965 Cadillac convertible. Follow along as we install our Stage 2 air suspension setup.
In this video we'll cover modifying the frame for air bag clearance, plumbing and wiring routing, installation of components in the trunk, and mounting our brackets and air bags in place of the factory coil springs.
If you have any questions about this Cadillac or any other project you're working on, feel free to reach out to us in the comments, on our website www.twistedimages.com , or Instagram and Facebook. - Авто та транспорт
Grommets are good for avoiding chafing. You can fill the air gaps with butyl tape. Works really well.
65 is such a good year
@@randybock82 definitely one of my favorites!
Nice work. I was looking for information on just doing lowering springs but this is pretty cool.
@@wyattoneable thanks! Lowering springs are definitely a lot less work and money, but if you decide to make life more difficult I’ll be happy to help! Haha
@@twistedimages405 I appreciate ya!

Would like to know how you wired that up like what wire goes to what
Thanks
@@Mrduran52 here’s a link to the diagram for our 4 gauge wiring kit:

@@twistedimages405 thanks you 🤘🤘
Which air bags do you use in rear , 2500 or 2600?
@@TonyFridlund if we’re using Slam Specialties air bags we got with a 7” (2600). With Air Lift bags we stick with 2500 size so we don’t have any clearance issues with the upper arms.
@@twistedimages405 Aah ok, will it be very tight with usual 2600 bags you think? I try to find some good brackets here in Sweden for 2500 bags but its hard. So I looking for an alternative in USA , can you recommend some that not are to expensive? Thanks in advance.
