- Have you ever wondered what Leshy would sound like? Or maybe the Stoat? The Angler? Even the Lonely Wizard? Well, I had a lot of ideas too, so here they all are in one big ol' video!

I like PO3, he's got that very Cocky tone in his voice that really fits.
Reminds me of the TF2 Scout in a Way.
Honestly, if P03 played TF2, he probably would main scout.
And if the other scrybes, hell, even some of the other characters played TF2, heres what I would imagine to be their mains.
Leshy - Engineer. I dunno, I would just really wanna see Leshy cosplaying as Uncle Dane.
Grimora - Medic. I mean, opposites attract, I guess???
Magnificus - Spy. Arrogant fancy dudes that are kinda hot. What's not to love?
Lonely Wizard - Pyro. Of course, the chaotic neutral character mains the chaotic neutral character.
Goobert - Soldier. Because yes.
Pike - Sniper. Pike kinda seems like the kind of person to prefer ranged weapons over hand-to-hand combat, so here you go.
I'm lazy so that's all of the characters.

6:22 the shushing actually sounded so accurate it was so believable that the “champion” felt scared although we didn’t see his reaction it felt like he knew he was in danger but leshy made sure to calm the “champion” down
Though I wish you did some parts at act 3 and the ending area I shouldn’t be too greedy but still Good on ya Mornal
Lonely Wizard sounded exactly like I wanted them to sound. These voices really fit the characters they go by.

I love Leshys voice automatically because he's my favorite character in the game but HOLY FUCK I LOVE P03's VOICE.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I really hope Leshy has at least a slight Russian accent, seeing as the entire concept of him is taken straight from a deity of the forests and hunting in Slavic mythology

I always felt like grimora would sound like that one aunt you have at a Christmas dinner who's genuinely super nice but probably gets way into monopoly
Im honestly just freakin creeped out about the fact that the scrybes remain their memory after you play a new save file meaning that in a normal game of inscryption leshy would be act 2 and act 2 would be act 1 where the scrybes are unknown of what happend
The Lonely Wizard was so good, I busted out laughing, it didn't imagine a voice like that, but its perfect.
I did that voice when i woke up in afternoon with voice sick
Man, that Mycologist voice was spot-on! So was the Stoat voice! Very nice!
one thing i noticed about leshy’s voice is that it has a bit of a distortion whenever he speaks without a mask. that’s a pretty nice detail in reference to the distorted sound that his original voice lines play. you really put in the extra detail, bro, well done.
yeah that confused me at first and then i remembered the noises ingame and im like "holy besus thats amazing"

I really wanted to hear the line from act 2 Leshy when he tells you the only thing you have to fear is your own inadequacy. Such a hard line.
What's really neat is that in the files, there's info for a sigil that uses your microphone to power up your card every time you say "Bloody Mary" into a connected microphone, up to 13 times

The slight mic crackle of Leshy, intentional or not, seems to fit the bass-y noise when he speaks. Like a character who was never meant to have a voice

1. Duplicate audio onto a second track
2. Lower pitch of duplicate audio by one octave and lower its volume so that it's only subtly audible below the main track
3. Apply a tremolo effect. In audacity the settings were:
"Waveform Type: Sawtooth"
"Frequency: 100hz"
"Wet Level: 100%"

100% agree with magnificus/stunted wolf, PO3/stoat ,goo,mycecologists and the lonley wizard angler and leshy were alright, the prospector is the only voice i feel doesnt really fit.
His voice needs to be deep

I'm especially interested to see the P03 version of the Mycologists as I feel that'd likely be a combination of those voices

God, everything about this is perfect, phenomenal work! It's like you pulled the headcanon voices right out of my head and made a video out of it. Your PO3 voice is my favorite just above Leshy, and I definitely would love to see a bit of Act 3, if you were to do more Inscryption voice acting in the future?

In Russia we call him Poz, because our Z is written as 3. (I hope I wrote it correctly)

Saw his gameplay and didn't liked his interpretation of the prospector. Jacksepticeye's interpretation, however, fitted like a glove 👌

Personally I think ManyBadassHero's improv for most of Leshy's characters, especially the angler, are perfect.
They have a good blend of camp, charm, and personality that fits them.
For the angler, having the inflection of "Go Feesh" instead of "Go Fish" adds a sense of simple goofiness, like the angler is hamming up his performance to intimidate you but doesn't really care. He's just a simple man who likes to fish.
The P03 with the new york accent fucking killed me

Giving the fact that old_data originates from the times of ww2, the direct influence is quite possible

honestly the only voice i had a problem with was the prospector, i feel like it would kinda sound like an insane prospecter, maybe a deeper voice but in a louder tone. otherwise, still love the voices a ton!

For me Markiplier's version of Leshy is still the best.
The low tone, the near monotony with a "lack" of emotion, the pace of words and phrases, and of course his sheer skill with Va'ing just makes it * chef's kiss *
If i had to choose in a theoretical best voices comp it's po-3 and the lonely wizard.

I thought of doing that during the Stunted Wolf convo since he was in his lategame half-restored sprite, but decided against it because I felt it took away from the tactile state of the characters in their card form

I think I figured out why magnificus hates goobert so much. The fisherman was competing with the dredger and goobert to get old data. If mag reset again he would’ve been in control. Since grimora wanted to die she didn’t seek out old data
