I found a 1977 penny in a drawer at my parents house...under the 1977 there is a 'dot' and when looking closer I noticed its either a D or S, but thinking a D, I need to wash it off..its in good condition!
Never clean them
Cleaning it will degrade it.
Do not clean it yourself. Go to a professional for grading first. You can seriously devalue it if done incorrectly 🙂 trust me I learned the hard way.

Have you ever heard of a 2006 Lincoln cent with Lincoln's eye missing? It also has quite a bit of doubling on, both the obverse and reverse.

I have always kept my change and I started watching your program and it led me to a lot of interesting facts about our coins. And after spending days digging through my loose coins, I've come across a number of coins that need to be authenticated.

It's defiantly an error. It's worth $9,884 dollars. Pretty good find. I have 12 of them. I have 10 of every single coin GOD ever made. Of every country too.
I understand why, but it's a shame that you have to continue to repeat that "if your coin is scratch up it will not be worth that high in value"

I've got a 1977-D penny that I bought from a flea market about 2 years ago for a dollar and it's graded out at a mint state 65 and it was graded by NGC years ago so I'm thinking about resubmitting it and maybe it might get a higher grade it would definitely bump up the value.
I got a 77 red d but not sure how much. It's kinda reddish brown.
I hope this 1 was a super rare 1977 like a 1 of a billion cause I've seen a bunch the last week and sure enough live outside of philly.. Right near their Mint lol.

I have a 1977 D weird color brown not as shiny but also if you look at from the side while its flat, its thinner on one side and it gets thicker as you go around it.

Question for ya, I have quite a few Lincoln pennies that the D is completely filled. No open space within the D. Is this anything to set aside?

That is a great question! I have a lot of the D pennies and it is worth finding out. I have asked this question myself and even researched the mint Mark. Nothing clear on the matter for me. Good luck 🍀

I just found a 1977D penny, I'm sure it's not the top grade, but it looks pretty close. I actually thought it was a penny from at least 2000s..but no.

What about a 1969 S PROOF SET? IS IT MORE VALUABLE AS A WHOLE SEALED SET FROM THE MINT or is it better to open it up and get them graded/sale them individually?

Just found a 1977 S proof penny coin roll hunting today. I would guess it's still MS63 or better, very Gold in color

Found a 77 penny in my coin jar. Its circulated but still clean. Only thing is it has a printing error like the machine didn't press all the way so a section on the front is just flat. Looks pretty strange to me. Anyway do you think its still worth anything ??
I don't agree with the grading on those business strike 1977 Lincoln cents. I see contact Marks on both sides. Huh? Ms68 has contact marks on the high points of the coin. Great video

Justin, what do you think about a 2017 Lincoln penny that has an error in the reverse under UNITED STATES of AMERICA, a number 1 inside the letter “D” . What can you say or thoughts about this. Got some pics of the coin and a close-up of the letter “D” with the 1 as plane as anything you have seen.

Hi Justin. Wow the 1977 at MS 67 = $700. +. The 1977D at MS 68 = $7000. +. That’s a big difference. Grade is KING. LIKE YOU ALWAYS SAY. I have some nice 1977’s Ddo & DDR possible MS 65 & Ms66 But I am still searching (for a heart of Gold). Ha Ha Haa !!! Like that song ⚡️. For the higher Grades. Good video. Thank You JPM
I have a 77 no mint penny in fair shape. But it has a very thick edge and when stacked with other pennies is noticeably smaller in diameter/circumference. Is this valuable?

I have a dime 1958, no mint mark at the top of the year, but at the back at the lower left of the torch there's a letter d on it
That letter D is in fact the mint mark. It means that the dime was minted at the Denver mint. 🙂
