@@bhreaditya6110 Thank you for the kind words! Yes, reducing the throttle idles the engine, which then stops powering the rotor. Saves a lot of time getting back up in the air and you can always break off your attempt by increasing your throttle again 😀 Have fun practicing!
Nice vid. Im training autos IRL and this all sounds like my instructor. Do you have any recommendations for good helis to use for autos in MSFS2024. Ive not found a good one yet. Most miss the build up in Nr during the flare, and thus the flare ends up very unrealistic.
@@madeupwithit Thank you so much! So far, I haven’t found a helicopter in MSFS 2024 that accurately models autorotations. I even need to apply full anti-torque when touching down. I recommend DCS World (free) with the OH-6A mod (free). The UH-1H module (paid) is also very realistic. If anyone has further recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
If you're building a helicopter rig, you'll want a joystick with little to no self-centering. The *VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Base with a 20cm extension* is a great choice, paired with a grip of your liking. For pedals, I’d recommend the *WinWing Orion rudder pedals* . I got mine yesterday to replace my CH Products rudder pedals, and my precision has increased tenfold. I’m super excited about them! A throttle works well, and I use the *Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle* , which is a great all-rounder. For more precision, Virpil also offers excellent *collectives* , although I don’t have personal experience with them. I hope that helps! ☺
I have a rig specifically built for helicopters. I can also reccomened a few companies. Maxflightstick and pro flight trainer. I use the pro flight trainer puma (PFT,) as it has a 3 channel switch to add more buttons for mapping. Expensive though. Second market is rare but worth it as the quality is great. I also reccomend VR in helicopters, depth perception is everything, haptics, look into that world, I went all in.
I personally haven’t really found one yet in MSFS. The 407 behaves really weird overall. I believe the R66 and H125 pull massive torque when pulling collective when the engine is off or idling. If anyone else wants to chime in, I’d love to hear it too 😁
This is really good... I always struggle with helio landing
I hope this was useful then 😊 good luck!
Love your videos, very well made, informative and entertaining. 👍🏼
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Glad you like them!
Very Nice!
Great editing!
Thank you! 🙏🏻😊
I never once thought about lowering down the throttle! I will learn it tonight. A very nice video, sir. I like the style.

Thank you for this video :)
@@GermanGandalf You’re welcome! Thanks for watching ☺️ I hope you learned something!

sooo what flight sims actually do a good job simulating autorotation?
I'm very interested in building a simulator rig. What are your recommendations for the setup?

VKb gladiator is the way to go!! Trust bro trust !
So whats the best msfs heli to use?

No f-ing way this got so few views
Haha, thank you! 😁 At least we have 859 responsible pilots so far 😀
