You can see all the green leaves wilting from the heat. This does not affect or stunt the growth in anyway? I would think if you could narrow the flaw a bit our turn it down that may be more beneficial. Please advise, I would love to know! :-)

I've always admired this idea, but my concern is wouldn't the flames burn off nitrogen in the soil?

you only boil the water in the plants and not the nitrogen, not enough temperature
