CM Punk was like The Rock, but even better.. He's not only the best wrestler of this era, but he is the greatest wrestler ever. He lost that match against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania because Undertaker got him in that lucky Tombstone out of nowhere.. Punk deserved a rematch the next year.. Punk was about to beat Lesnar at Summerslam, too, but Paul Heyman got involved and helped Brock win-- remember that? And Brock beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. So if Brock beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, and he needed help to beat Punk, then that tells u that Punk was more than good enough to beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania too.. I'd put my money on CM Punk against the Undertaker 9 out of 10 times. He also beat John Cena at Money in the Bank at Chicago, beat The Rock at the Royal Rumble (before him and McMahon cheated and re-started the match, and then the Rock got lucky and hit that Lucky People's Elbow. But Punk won the original match which was the legit match), and beat Jon Moxley from the infamous Shield with a torn damn tricep. Punk has lost a lot of matches, but when the pressure was at the highest, and it was an incredibly high-stakes match, which his last 3 years in WWE were full of, he always came through, except in that one match against The Undertaker and that fake 2nd match at the Royal Rumble against The Rock.. Remember, he had a 434 day title reign-- the longest in modern history, up til Roman Reign's reign. He was almost unbeatable. His killer instinct and will to win that he had combined with his top-notch technical game, not only made him the best wrestler ever, but one of the most entertaining wrestlers to watch ever too. And that, combined with his fearless attitude and willingness to publically tell extremely uncomfortable truths, is why he became known as "The Cult of Personality." He is really special and unique in wrestling history, in that way.. And he's finally come back to wrestling, after 7 long years, and he still looks just as dominant as he was back then, even in his old age.. We are witnessing absolute history. And he has garnered the biggest fanbase any wrestler has ever had. At his WWE return at Survivor Series, those were the loudest cheers that wrestling had ever seen. And his return to wrestling at AEW at the United Center, that was the 2nd loudest pop in wrestling history, after the Survivor Series one. That building hadn't shook like that since Jordan was there.. And no building has ever shaken like the building at Survivor Series, the Allstate Arena, since the Beatles's arena shows. CM Punk is as big as The Beatles were. He's the modern Beatles. And he's the best, like The Beatles were the best. Some fanboys say Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, or Roman Reigns were better than Punk, but CM Punk, in a high stakes match, would've beat them all, 9 times out of 10. And if those matches happened in Chicago, in front of CM Punk's home crowd, he'd win those matches every time. If The Undertaker dared to face CM Punk in Chicago, CM Punk would Punk him every time... I would confidently put my money where my mouth is on that. Yeah man. In a hypothetical tournament where all of the wrestlers ever would simultaneously be in their primes and face each other, if i had to pick one wrestler against all of the rest and my life was on the line, i'd pick the legendary enigma, CM Punk..
