EVERY person that mistreats animals like this need to be sterilized, and put in jail for the rest of their lives. To make sure they will NEVER own another animal.

So great to hear from another Vegan! Since we can live happy, healthy lives without harming others, why wouldn't we? So many animal lovers here are watching this video while eating a cheeseburger.
I think they should be treated as they treated the animals.
I feel they should be treated how they treated the animal. They starved the animal then they will be put in a cage with no food. They trained animals to fight? They will be beaten until they throw up. And they throw it in q tub of tar? They get tar on them. This is how we get the word out that abusing animals doesnt do any good and people should be punished!!

I was so sad when I heard Billy didn't make it,poor little dude,so glad at the end he had a loving owner who did everything he could to make his last few months as joyous as possible.

I wanna have a job like yours, that's absolutely amazing. Cruelty is a terrible thing to humans, but animals doesn't have a voice where they could get any help...I am glad there's humans left in this world that gives their time so animals doesn't have to suffer human cruelty..

I can't stand dogs, find them gross, but you know what I find even more gross, is people who do this to them. I may not want a dog, I don't like the smell, barking, or the licking. But even I would care for a dog like a baby if someone dumped one on me. No reason any animal should be treated like they don't matter. All these little bastards deserve some love. Please don't dump one on me but if you do I promise to be good to them.

You gave him a great life Adam, for however long he had left. He could have been walking in circles with green-tinted water and little food in a tiny cage rusted shut for his entire life. Next time I get a dog, I will make sure it's from a shelter or responsible breeder.
With his bulging eyes and tongue sticking out of his mouth, he was possibly the cutest puppy I ever say, and will ever see.

Many animals are out there. We can't save them all. But a small change makes a huge difference. Some people out there are selfish and don't even want to help while the majority of us are risking our lives every day to save these creatures so they can be there for the future generation. Same for people. We risk our lives, help, and rescue people everyday.
Now ask yourself this question.
Would you be one of those people who save others no matter what species.?
I am. And I'm only 16. I love my animals and no matter what job field I go into I'm still gonna save others in need. Including precious animals like this.

I will never ever forget Billy he touched me so much I cannot believe it-he totally touched my heart and I instantly fell in love with him-when I heard he passed I was devastated he was so spirited and full of life even after the terrible life he had been given-God Bless you Adam for giving Billy some joy and love, he really loved you and cherished you I could tell-my hope was that Billy forgot the life he had and only remembered those special days he spent with you and your family-Billy will always have a special place in my heart I can just imagine how you feel

Love dogs, pigs, chickens, cows etc. There really is no difference. They all deserve to live their lives as we do. We all want the same things.
This is totally heartbreaking.

And because I haven't , I am happy to help organizations that help rescue animals and need our help. I have seen many poor people (not all) drinking, smoking. If you can afford those things , you are poor by choice. I guess my post should have been " Most people can afford to donate 20 per month"

Sad that we need to support rescues like this... Hopefully some day this will no longer be a problem. They really need to start prosecuting animal abusers more harshly. RIP Billy, at least your last few months were filled with love and comfort.

is billy still alive??? we've rescued so many just like Billy!! our rescue is The Pepper Foundation and we rescue special needs and seniors and so many come from backyard breeders, are missing their lower jaws and so many times are abused!! we love you guys!!!

It is a very special thing that Billy got to live his last few months in a loving and wonderful environment-I know he forgot all about his old life and he looks so happy and you can tell he felt love I really wish I could have met Billy
This kind of things breaks me, it keeps me up at night, i'm so thankful we still have good people helping the animals.

Billys legacy still lives. God allowed this poor baby to find the love in YOU'RE heart to let his last months know what happiness and true love is...he left the world a happy baby, hopefully forgetting how poorly mistreaten he was. You are my absolute role model. I am only 13 years old and would like to be 18 most of the time but when we go on vacation in Russia there are many stray dogs and I have saved extra money and still save on it so I can eat and buy for the animals.
