I love my iPhone 8 Plus, this phone has been perfected for four generations and I’m afraid Touch ID will not return for this year’s new iPhones! Although iOS 11 has been a huge disappointment, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are definitely the ones to go with given the fact that Touch ID is miles better than Face ID in terms of accuracy and speed. Keep up the awesome videos zollotech! Well done!👍
I went to the iPhone 8 plus from the iPhone X. Never thought I would, but as others have also mentioned, the X is a test product for all intents and purposes. The notch becomes an eye sore for media consumption and the Face ID is just not as accurate as Touch ID.
I have the iphone 8. Coming from the iphone 6, I don't notice it much, meaning it doesn't get in my way on how I use it. No slowdowns, and like you said everything works really well. And that's great for me. I like the improved battery life. I still have to use its wireless capability though

Right on Aaron. I love my X, but my 8 plus was rock solid. Not to mention the fact that the oleophobic coating on these phones seems much more durable to me. My screen was flawless, but after just a few weeks, my X screen was covered in scratches. The battery life of the 8 plus is also fantastic. Thanks again for the great update!
I have had my iPhone 8 plus for exactly one week. After 2 years of Android, decided on a whim to try IOS again. Picked up a series 1 Apple watch as well. So far, I really love this phone. Pictures are amazing, the battery life is fantastic, and the speed is insane. I really really love this phone and watch combo. The phone felt large at first but now feels perfect.
I now have the iPhone8 with me. The plus was too big for my hands. Everything’s great about the phone. Downside though is the battery. It will get you through a day’s use, but that’s it. Coming from a phone with a larger battery, this is the weakest point of apple. If they could just put the battery capacity of their ipads to their phones, that would be great thank you!
I’ve iPhone 8plus 256 gb model and have thousands of pictures and many 4K videos but still left with space like 208 gb ! It’s faster and smoother than any phone and I love it 😍 ❤️! I loved your channel stuff ❤️✌🏻

Great quality, great performance The size seems perfect for me, the camera is amazing, this is a great phone 😊 If I were to nit pick anything I would say a little more RAM wouldn’t hurt (still works fine with what it has) and a zoom lens on the smaller version would have been nice lol The 8 and 8+, to me, are the best iPhone ever made. (Ok, maaaaybe the SE is a close second lol) I highly recommend these!
Decided to use my 8 plus without a case. Cause I was itching too. What a beautifully designed phone. I dropped it more times without the case then with the case. Aluminum band is chipped. A lil crack on the back. But overall I don’t think it’s an iPhone unless it’s a lil cracked. Now it’s perfect. But the chipped aluminum sides I do feel.
I had the option to choose between the iPhone X and the 8 Plus but I went with the 8 Plus because I read so many comments of folks who had exchanged their iPhone X for the 8 Plus. But I have no regrets having gone for the 8 Plus. Zollotech is right, this is the iPhone perfected. It will take a while for them to ‘perfect’ the X and even when they do, a lot of Apple fans would still stick to the older models that are notch free and have the blessed fingerprint ID.
I pretty much knew I wanted the 8+ when it repressed over the X. The 8+ is super refined and I’m hoping with 11.3 that it will be what it should be all along. Bluetooth has been an issue for me from day one. But I like everything else about the device.
Went from Galaxy s7 to iphone 8 last year. I was initially underwhelmed with ios 11 though I didn’t have issues some reported, but from 11.2 onwards i think its been getting better and better in terms of smoothness and 6 months on my iphone 8 is as fast and efficient as the day I first switched it on.
Reynald Cantorne its very good. Standby time is very awesome on iphone 8 you can still get a 100 battery life on stndby without using your phone. My phone is 1 month or so. So far im very satisfied :)
Reynald Cantorne i charge it at night at 9pm then i woke 6am its still has a complete 100% battery life then i went to work i just use my phone around 10am and it still has a 100% so yeah! Very good! :)
I'm planning to buy a phone tomorrow but still can't decide between iPhone 8 and Galaxy S9. Isn't it too late to get an iPhone 8? Because there are upcoming iPhones this September.
Reynald Cantorne well if you can wait until September its okay but for me iphone 8 is the way to go. My wife got an S9 and the battery drains overtime. Samsung really must fix their software. For me getting an iphone 8 is not too late, actually iphone 7 is still capable upto this year.m and remember how iphone X is 2 years ahead of the Android phones and you know iphone 8 and iphone x has the same processor despite having a different screen/camera setup and battery size. I just bought an iphone 8 because i dont like big phones and iphone X for me is already big. I have the iphone 8 (256GB) So for me go get an iphone if you have the extra buck to spare :)

It’s my first plus iPhone and I’m never going back to regular size lol The camera is awesome and so much more about the phone is great! The only thing is I don’t like that it’s all glass. I always keep my phone in an otterbox but I get nervous I’ll drop it and it’ll break even though it’s in the case, although the glass back does look beautiful!
So at the weekend I decided to try a Samsung S9, so far its a tremendous phone.... fast and the screen looks fantastic... I am in *user* mode right now and not interested in customizing this phone ....
I agree with your thoughts about iPhone 8plus ... I have compared the display on my 8plus with the iPhone 10 and just can not see any *real* difference between the displays, certainly not enough to spend $1000.00 which I just refuse to do for a cell phone.. the chip is the same in both phones therefore the performance should be the same don’t you think ? I am running beta software on my phone which at this point seems to be performing rather well, both smooth and fast which is what I care about most with these devices ...

I upgraded from my 6 Plus to the 8 Plus shortly after its release. Just holding the X in store I found the display, and keyboard, to be to small. I love my 8 Plus! No regrets here!
My 6 plus got touch disease so I decided it was time for a new one. I got the 8 but I messed the bigger screen. I returned it a week later and came out with an 8 plus and haven’t looked back. It’s so so fast and I love the battery life and the dual camera. Never looked back.
I've had my iPhone 8 plus since it came out and for one who has to get the latest iPhone each year I think I may hold out for the line up they have coming this summer/fall. I love the weight of it the most! it's a little chunky compared to the seven but it feels like an overall luxary device. I'm not to fond on a full buttonless screen like the iPhone x. I also don't know how I feel about face ID yet. but over all this is a beautiful phone and works smoothly. I get lots of compliments on it
I have the 8 Plus since it came out and i have not a single scratch on it. It hold very well and it is a fantastic iPhone. The big bezels are annoying. I think i will switch to the XL model 2018 in september. But the iPhone 8 Plus is a really good phone, i recommend it!
I've been using the iPhone 8 Plus for about 5 months and here are some problems: 1) Awkward size, will not fit your jean pants unless you wear loose fit jeans like your dad's 2) Huge bezels, so much space is wasted on unnecessary bezels around the whole phone 3) Design is outdated, I don't ever remember picking up my iPhone 8 Plus and think "beautiful design" 4) Call quality is bad sometimes, Not sure if it's the iOS11.3 but sometimes person at other side tells me I sound like I'm underwater. Quick fix is to reboot my phone and the problem goes away
I really don’t feel like using a beta device with the iPhone X. It’s very smooth and well finished, even the software is mostly very well thought out! The iPhone 8 Plus is great too, i still like its design and it has nothing wrong with it!
Yup I agree the 8 is the ultimate iPhone! I’m not going to upgrade until the x8 comes out and get the ultimate x because I’m really not feeling it at the moment but I no it was be improved just like the iPhone 1 haha
Every year I switch to the new iPhone and this year i deliberately went for the 8 plus cause i new the X was going to be a beta device. Plus there was no finger print sensor. it is an excellent phone and there are no complaints
I just went back to an 8+ after the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X. Just can't let go of Touch ID and its reliability, and the comfortableness of iOS - it still remains a more polished and consistent user experience than Android (for me, anyway). And the stereo speakers - after the awful mono speaker on the Note 8, it matters. Oh, and thanks for the video: +1 subscribe.
I’ve had my iPhone 8 Plus since January and it is covered it scratches. I’ve had almost every iPhone since the 4 and never had this problem before. My previous iPhone was the 6s. I had that for 2 years and not a single scratch on the display. Not a fan of screen protectors so I wish this wasn’t the case. Hopefully the next generation will be more resistant to micro scratches.
I have a screen protector and cannot tell the difference from when it was not on the phone. Also, it strengthens the phone and prevents damage if you drop it. Also, because it is glass, it is very resistant to scratches.
William Ainsworth I had my iPhone replaced at the apple store since this post and have a belkin anti-glare screen protector on it now. It was definitely worth it on 8 plus
Just got my iPhone X a couple weeks ok and it's ok. Im not enjoying it as much as I thought ok would. I really miss TouchID. Thinking of going back to a 7+ or maybe an 8+
IM glad I went with the iPhone 8 plus, sometimes the size feels a little too big for me but when I think about the bigger battery, bigger screen and two cameras, then I feel its worth it to get the plus size. iPhone X is a good phone but its a beta product which Apple is testing on us guineapigs. lots of apps don't support the notch screen of the X and I give it couple of years before I think the X will be worth buying and FaceID will be better alternative to touchID. Right now it isn't and certainly not worth the price Apple is asking for a beta product.
Great video zolotech. Just a quick question for you and your experience with iPhones. Should I force close my apps on my iPhone X to extend battery life or is that useless? When i leave the apps in the background, Snapchat and UA-cam tend to use up the battery the background and the standby usage is close to the real usage.
Hey Zollotech, just a quick follow up to your reply, I just contacted apple chat and asked about this and the person said this, "..that is not entirely true, closing out of apps helps keep the phone from running excessively in the background and really help with battery performance and overall usage of the device..One of the most common tricks we tell is for the Customer to just simply make sure closing the apps are being done. :)"
Ive used iphone X for 3 months, Yesterday i switch my X with 8 Plus... So much much better and solid with iphone 8 Plus... not regret at all... most stable performance

Thinking of switching to the 8 plus from the X as ever since I’ve got it I’ve been having headaches and eye strain, never had that before when using older iPhones. I’ve heard the 8 plus is pretty hefty in the weight department, am I going to find it really weighty going from the X? Or is it just like going from a normal sized iPhone like the 7/8 to the 7/8 plus? Don’t want to feel like I’m carrying a brick in my pocket all the time?
zollotech Alright I ordered an iPhone 8, although it was a hard decision because I liked the features of the iPhone 8 + but the screen is too big, and yes the iphone Xs and plus are coming out but they will be really expensive, so I just got the 8, but thank you anyway!

I have a question for all the people out there!!!: My finger sensor sometimes detects my finger and unlocks the iphone, but somehow very unreliable. It does not work more often than it should. Is that the same with you? And my battery still has a life of 97 percent is that still good? I have the iphone 8 plus since the end of October 2017
Little tip, whichever finger you prefer using to unlock the phone, scan the : same finger 3/4 times, this then increases the accuracy and limits the amount of failed scans. Not that I’ve ever had a problem or had to do that, I’ve just heard that it fixed the issues of failed scans for some people
iPhone X is a pretty good beta phone. Lol Jokes aside, I really do like the iPhone X after having it for few weeks now. I’ve only experienced minute bugs/glitches with iOS 11.2.6. I think iOS 12 will be just as much as overall improvement for iOS as for the iPhone X. They obviously run the same OS but don’t they have to have two separate versions of releases now?... because of how different both phones are with gestures and all on X..,

My 6 still runs strong, I've replaced the battery one week ago it was at 45% of battery health and now runs great. I might upgrade next year.

Jovan Harrison I think you should get a skin. It keeps the phone thin and it’s extra protection for the glass back, which costs a LOT to replace.

I have the 8 Plus since it came out and i have not a single scratch on it. It hold very well and it is a fantastic iPhone. The big bezels are annoying. I think i will switch to the XL model 2018 in september. But the iPhone 8 Plus is a really good phone, i recommend it!

I've been using the iPhone 8 Plus for about 5 months and here are some problems:
1) Awkward size, will not fit your jean pants unless you wear loose fit jeans like your dad's
2) Huge bezels, so much space is wasted on unnecessary bezels around the whole phone
3) Design is outdated, I don't ever remember picking up my iPhone 8 Plus and think "beautiful design"
4) Call quality is bad sometimes, Not sure if it's the iOS11.3 but sometimes person at other side tells me I sound like I'm underwater. Quick fix is to reboot my phone and the problem goes away
I really don’t feel like using a beta device with the iPhone X. It’s very smooth and well finished, even the software is mostly very well thought out! The iPhone 8 Plus is great too, i still like its design and it has nothing wrong with it!
Yup I agree the 8 is the ultimate iPhone! I’m not going to upgrade until the x8 comes out and get the ultimate x because I’m really not feeling it at the moment but I no it was be improved just like the iPhone 1 haha
Every year I switch to the new iPhone and this year i deliberately went for the 8 plus cause i new the X was going to be a beta device. Plus there was no finger print sensor. it is an excellent phone and there are no complaints

I just went back to an 8+ after the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X. Just can't let go of Touch ID and its reliability, and the comfortableness of iOS - it still remains a more polished and consistent user experience than Android (for me, anyway). And the stereo speakers - after the awful mono speaker on the Note 8, it matters. Oh, and thanks for the video: +1 subscribe.

I’ve had my iPhone 8 Plus since January and it is covered it scratches. I’ve had almost every iPhone since the 4 and never had this problem before. My previous iPhone was the 6s. I had that for 2 years and not a single scratch on the display. Not a fan of screen protectors so I wish this wasn’t the case. Hopefully the next generation will be more resistant to micro scratches.
I have a screen protector and cannot tell the difference from when it was not on the phone. Also, it strengthens the phone and prevents damage if you drop it. Also, because it is glass, it is very resistant to scratches.
William Ainsworth I had my iPhone replaced at the apple store since this post and have a belkin anti-glare screen protector on it now. It was definitely worth it on 8 plus
Just got my iPhone X a couple weeks ok and it's ok. Im not enjoying it as much as I thought ok would. I really miss TouchID. Thinking of going back to a 7+ or maybe an 8+

IM glad I went with the iPhone 8 plus, sometimes the size feels a little too big for me but when I think about the bigger battery, bigger screen and two cameras, then I feel its worth it to get the plus size. iPhone X is a good phone but its a beta product which Apple is testing on us guineapigs. lots of apps don't support the notch screen of the X and I give it couple of years before I think the X will be worth buying and FaceID will be better alternative to touchID. Right now it isn't and certainly not worth the price Apple is asking for a beta product.

Great video zolotech. Just a quick question for you and your experience with iPhones. Should I force close my apps on my iPhone X to extend battery life or is that useless? When i leave the apps in the background, Snapchat and UA-cam tend to use up the battery the background and the standby usage is close to the real usage.

Hey Zollotech, just a quick follow up to your reply, I just contacted apple chat and asked about this and the person said this, "..that is not entirely true, closing out of apps helps keep the phone from running excessively in the background and really help with battery performance and overall usage of the device..One of the most common tricks we tell is for the Customer to just simply make sure closing the apps are being done. :)"
I use an iPhone 8. What you mean when you say iOS 11 is not stable as I feel my iPhone runs super fast without any lags.

Thinking of switching to the 8 plus from the X as ever since I’ve got it I’ve been having headaches and eye strain, never had that before when using older iPhones.
I’ve heard the 8 plus is pretty hefty in the weight department, am I going to find it really weighty going from the X? Or is it just like going from a normal sized iPhone like the 7/8 to the 7/8 plus? Don’t want to feel like I’m carrying a brick in my pocket all the time?

zollotech Alright I ordered an iPhone 8, although it was a hard decision because I liked the features of the iPhone 8 + but the screen is too big, and yes the iphone Xs and plus are coming out but they will be really expensive, so I just got the 8, but thank you anyway!
iPhone 7’s still holding up well here unless Apple really perfects its iPhone X’s gestures I wouldn’t upgrade to it.but it seems like .... Apple is really going to that route right now and all the rumors are pointing one direction:iPhone 8 series is the last traditional design Apple offers

My finger sensor sometimes detects my finger and unlocks the iphone, but somehow very unreliable. It does not work more often than it should.

Not. It works 99% of the time for me. If you have dirty or sweaty hands then that can cause a problem. Also very dry hands don’t work well.
Little tip, whichever finger you prefer using to unlock the phone, scan the :
same finger 3/4 times, this then increases the accuracy and limits the amount of failed scans. Not that I’ve ever had a problem or had to do that, I’ve just heard that it fixed the issues of failed scans for some people

iPhone X is a pretty good beta phone. Lol Jokes aside, I really do like the iPhone X after having it for few weeks now. I’ve only experienced minute bugs/glitches with iOS 11.2.6. I think iOS 12 will be just as much as overall improvement for iOS as for the iPhone X.
They obviously run the same OS but don’t they have to have two separate versions of releases now?... because of how different both phones are with gestures and all on X..,
