Sup guys! Here are the first 8 things I would do after getting an iPhone 8. Some may not agree with the auto-lock disabling but it's all personal preference. :)

One feature you didn't mention is that you can add live photos as your home and lock screens! With certain apps, you can download them and set them up. Then, you can hold on your home screen for it to act as a live photo! This feature also works for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, and any other newer phones.
I sort of agree with you because you never know. One day you could just be doing too many things at once and you leave your phone to the side and it’s been unlocked for the past 10 minutes and someone could easily snatch it and go on it. I think setting it to 5 or 15 minutes is the best thing to do
Got my 8+ almost a year ago..went from a 6s to 8+..best iPhone yet..I even got over the headphone jack fiasco and can see myself hanging on to the 8+ for a long time. Good tips here.

This video was very helpful after having my iPhone 8 for a little more than one year. I was already familiar with the basics on this phone but learned much by watching this video. Keep the info coming for those of us who are sometimes slow learners. One thing I would suggest (I know you have a limited amount of time) but is to slow down just a little in your speaking. Of course there is a pause feature and review, but maybe half of the information could be in another segment as though you were doing one lesson per week, just as you did with your 17 minute video.Again, thanks for updating with information on the iPhone 8 that I never knew existed and I can't wait to be with my friends and look like a tech savvy person.

Anyways, I'm very happy with the iOS updates that are still rolling in on the iPhone 8/8 Plus, that's what I was aiming for when I set out to get a new phone. These tips were great, and I'm off to see what other info I can get from your channel. While this video is from a while back, it's still going to be helpful for a long while. I desperately needed more storage and a faster system, as well as not feeling the need to constantly fiddle with the aesthetics on my phone or find a way to mediate bloatware and the error messages from the system. I don't foresee it happening on iOS, but if it does, I will have figured out the issue. Good golly is this phone fast! Whew! Love it.
Lijah checks your real life ambient lights color temperature and changes the color temperature on the screen to correct it so what you see is always calibrated, if it works as advertised it sounds like a good thing to keep on

Brandon Butch it definitely does not... iOS 11 is optimized well enough .. why do you think apple hid the auto brightness into a different sub section? .. I’ve tried multiple tests on iOS 11.. turning off auto brightness, kills the battery
It just checks the light sensor which is always on anyway. If it adjusts your brightness, it saves a lot of battery, since the display consumes a substantial amount of your battery. Additionally I don't want to be blinded when I check my phone at night, it just auto adjusts.

I’m gone at school for 12 hours a day. When I get home my phones only on 30-40%
Auto lock to never hmm, not a good idea for everyone. I wouldn’t “tell” people to set it to never. You may not forget to turn off your display Brandon but other people won’t remember this now their display is just burning eating away at battery life with auto brightness off as you also told them and the display set as bright as it can go not to mention the people that walk away from their phone at work, home, etc...leaving their device vulnerable to prying eyes 👀.

true tone adjusts the brightness of ths screen to wherever you are. so if your in a bright setting, it will make the screen brighter and if your in a dark setting, it will make the brightness of the screen lighter.
*Auto brightness* - Brightens in lighter areas (outside for example) - Lowers brightness in lower lit areas (Night, in buildings, etc) *True Tone* - Automatically adjusts white balance to match the light around you. For a better viewing experience in all kinds of environments. Example, if you're in an area with colored lights or fluorescent lighting (parties, clubs, or whatever it might be), the phone will adjust the colors (make the colors warmer or colder depending on your surroundings) to make it look normal when in your environment.
Will The Thrill 8 plus is the same thing as the X minus screen, ois in both camera lenses, and portrait mode in front lense lol. Am I missing something?

No problem Tina! It is better but you won't notice much of a difference unless you watch it on a 4k display. Plus 4k takes up more storage space

What's the actual difference between True Tone display adjusting and auto-brightness?
true tone adjusts the brightness of ths screen to wherever you are. so if your in a bright setting, it will make the screen brighter and if your in a dark setting, it will make the brightness of the screen lighter.
*Auto brightness*
- Brightens in lighter areas (outside for example)
- Lowers brightness in lower lit areas (Night, in buildings, etc)
*True Tone*
- Automatically adjusts white balance to match the light around you. For a better viewing experience in all kinds of environments.
Example, if you're in an area with colored lights or fluorescent lighting (parties, clubs, or whatever it might be), the phone will adjust the colors (make the colors warmer or colder depending on your surroundings) to make it look normal when in your environment.

Will The Thrill 8 plus is the same thing as the X minus screen, ois in both camera lenses, and portrait mode in front lense lol. Am I missing something?
