Dont shoot 28 but am a 410 user looking forward to the 410 slug loads being tested .bpi have a 410 diablo mould from NOE with a load of the week for it but not alot of info on how it actually shoots your one of the few UA-camrs putting up quality videos on sub gauges reloading 👍 a big thumbs up from the UK
Haven't shot slugs at anything except for fun. Stumps, trees, old engine blocks. But I believe that they could have a great application for defense. A model 12 in 20 or 28 guage, six up the pipe and one in the bore would be some good medicine now Boy Howdy!
Perhaps a rifled choke tube and maybe a low powered scope would cut that way down, still for short range that was not terrible . I have watched Buffalo shoot slugs using a rifled slug choke so of course I bought one for 12 gauge for forster slugs , a base for my fairly new 870 Fieldmaster and a Shotgun scope I just have to get out once the weather warms up. Thankyou Bullet . the 28 makes a lot of sense I have 410's and 2 shotguns in 12 gauge.
Bought 8# of 572 when it was really hard to get any powder.there is a bunch of loads in 12, 20, 28, and .410. Using it. I use it for a bunch of " meet" shoot loads in 12,_& 20. Very versatile powder.
12g 1oz i been shooting these, sitting over bullseye powder primarily, deadly accurate...no recoil, i lovem, im starting back into slugs. I havent had any problems in 12g availability
Awesome video as usual. I know you’re not a fan of bismuth, but I’d love to see you load some copper plated bismuth from Boss or just get your thoughts on it.
I have several boxes of Boss, I've opened them up for "what's in the box" videos. I don't see a big difference between it and BPI plated shot. I may give them a call and load some smaller shot for upland type stuff. Maybe some 8's
Them sbe3 just cannot NOT hit high and left regardless from what im seeing broad stroking it. All i use is fat bead mossberg and slightly better 870..does great

I have a pile of once fired win aahs hulls if you have some 3" .410 hulls you want to trade. I have at least a thousand ive saved...just looking for a couple hundred 3" hulls for my .410.

That .410 slug would make it a heavy 45 OF 44 mag, 454 C. Now out it in a judge or any of those pistoles.
