I don't know if you ever heard of Drake & Josh, but they did an exact parody of this scene but with sushi and while I wasn't born in time to see I Love Lucy, I think of the Drake & Josh parody periodically because it's one of the hardest laughs I ever have.

Had a bit of a reverse experience in the physics class. First 6 weeks was like: Hey, we have to carry in extra chairs and some people end up standing! Surely this class needs a bigger lecture room? 6 weeks later after the first test results came in, there was room to spare. The first two rows were unoccupied. It all made sense...
Oh god my psychology class in community college was tough. The professor straight up said that more than half of us will fail and you're lucky if you got a D+ in her course. She would talk out loud about up coming assignments while we were taking quizzes, you only had 3 minutes to finish and take notes on the next assignments simultaneously with trying to finish the quiz. Final exams, you had 10 minutes, if you didn't finish in that time, she would fail you. I shockingly got a B+ in her class.

It’s from the 40’s, she’s wearing an evening gown with a beautiful fur coat. It hangs in our living room.

@sos sos It's been 3 weeks so I am not sure what I meant, but pobably I meant that Drake and Josh repeated jokes from 70's and 80's sitcoms and movies many times that some people on [tv] accused writers ripping-off other sitcoms. Also there is something I heard that is called "script writer's lifecycle". Basically it means that sitcom writers after some time, when they can't write new jokes, work on teen comedy shows, and they re-use same jokes that used before. I remember its called "Microwave-ing", using same jokes on your joke book that you used before, but this time for a new type of audience.
