Michael Kuecker, I bought the entire DVD set 3 years ago and watched every episode time permitting but I got through them all, It was awesome to watch these classics all over again, But you're exactly right you could watch em a 1000 times or even 10,000 times and they would never get old.

Such a different time, buying breakfast at the drugstore. There was also ice cream and soda as well. Woolworth's was probably the place to go back then. Some supermarkets have ready-made breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee at least nowadays, but in the 50s, it was the drugstore that had all that stuff lol. I have very vague memories of going to local department stores here in the early 90s and getting Nathan's hot dogs at the lunch counter. I also remember when K-mart used to have Little Caesar's pizza =P
I remember the pizza at K-Mart and also when they had the cafeterias, K-Cafe. Also used to LOVE eating as a kid in the 1990s at the old-school Woolworth's luncheonette which was still around in my area by the mid point of the decade. Can still remember how good those grilled cheese sandwiches and salisbury steak platters were.
In the 60's Woolworth's had a legitimate diner in most of their stores, and the food was EXCELLENT (well this being the rating of a 5 or 6 year old me). Never did breakfast, but man had some of the best lunches at Woolworths as a kid.
Such an innovative show. Cutting edge comedy and so evolved for its era (50s). I grew up in the 80s, and this was a cornerstone of morning TV then. Unreal sitcom, at least in the top 50 of all time, arguably top 10.
Yeah, different times for sure. My mom told me when she was a kid in the 60s/70s, Woolworth's was still around, and they had soda fountains and ice cream. I also remember going to a local department store in my city in the early 90s and they had a lunch counter with hot dogs lol.
Lol you still can in some small towns. Where I live, there’s a drug store that still has an old cafe/sock-hop style restaurant inside. It’s awesome to see it get so packed n
There are still a few drugstores that have counters where you can sit and have a meal or ice cream sundae. Not many, unfortunately. Those were the days.

The proper answer to "where'd you learn to cook", is "I had to cook for myself when I was single before meeting you honey". Though that hinges on you actually cooking the meal.
It's funny because today the old people would be all "you know back in my days, we didn't have our faces glued to our phone," no but you had your faces glued to the newspaper haha
So this year at my school for the 4th grade wax museum I decided to be Lucille Ball. A giant crowd gathered around me. It took so much work for the speech, the costume, the red hair wig, the makeup, and the acting. But it was all worth because Lucille Ball is the best😁
