Remember guys, no need to spring for the billet impeller if you're not using smaller than the 100mm pulley. The regular G3 head unit with cast impeller is good down to the 100mm pulley which is good for almost 1000whp on e85/race gas. Why spend the extra money on the g3x's billet impeller if not taking advantage of a smaller pulley. Spend that money on injectors or a booster pump instead. Now if you are installing or return style fuel system that will support a thousand horsepower or better, then by all means definitely get the billet impeller... But if not your money is better spent buying injectors, boost a pump, or putting it towards the tuning.

Maybe the secondary chains the rest are a waste of good money, don't be cheap on the oil catch can on pass side, get a UPR at least

They're not even necessary at all. It's the biggest fucking bullshit mod that got popular. Same thing with diff/irs lockouts. People putting solid bushings in and snapping the bolts causing $5k in damage for no reason
OPG are a myth. I've yet to see one engine failure caused by it. A drop test doesn't prove anything, most if not ALL of the aftermarket "billet" options don't hold the same tolerances and eat themselves. My car has seen 800hp and 8k rpm for the last 5 years along with all my friends.
Fuel pump, not BAP. Go look at beefcakeracing for a DW400 Pump, direct replacement 1000HP capable and E85 compatible. IF you get pressure issues WITH that pump then get a BAP with it and it’s golden.
😅 slammed an AAM1150 out of a dodge into a 1994 ford thunderbird that has a Xenon kit... the 8.8IRS broke to many times. 308 to a 373 gear is a good change

I changed my Whipples oil at 30k because of shitty oil catch can let oil by, so I took it apart to clean out all the damn oil and figure go a little further do the oil, it looked smelled brand new at 30k miles , don't be cheap on oil catch can get UPR
I’m saving up for some months, to get 13-17 and wanna go boosted but daily most the time. Would centrifugal be better for torque or roots/tvs style? Want more low end power as well. Charger is fun but want a 5.0
@@RipJawsX95they can both make plenty of power up top the centri is more soft down low by design then build boost with rpm. For this same reason it's little easier to plant power on the street but if he wants it to rip down low he needs a tvs. Odin is the way.
Get an odin 2650 tvs and don't look back. Centri builds boost with rpm so it is significantly softer down low compared to a tvs. Whipple is stronger down low and kb than a centri but not as strong as the tvs. The tvs can go over 100k without a rebuild or oil change. They're very driveable. There is a reason alot of oem blowers are tvs. The newest gt500 has a 2650 similar to the odin. Go odin. If you wanna make 700-800+ go with a 15-17 gen 2 coyote.

It’s cheap insurance. Everything I’ve seen says it’s the right move for anything over 650 hp. But aftermarket OPG can go too, so you get what you pay for.
You gotta change them out little more you should be changing them every 10 or 15k or so anyways if you're boosted it isn't much if an issue changing out the plugs little more.
10r80 gives the gen 3 blower cars solid 60-130s not the ESS. They make the same power as any other similarly sized blower on the market. There's no magic.
Most ESS cars are running bottom 4s with ease on the street. I don't see this common with procharger, paxton, whipple, or vmp. The PD blowers have the power but probably a traction issue. ESS doesn't make much down low but screams up top.
@@blown06tc651mygarage switched from the vortech v3 to a ess g3x in his gen 3 and dyno showed a better power curve and he said the ess feels stronger up top.

@@blown06tcto do low 4s you'd have to be over 1000 wheel even with a 10 speed. That is a full max effort setup for a stock motor. You gotta have everything possible supporting mod wise and be on e85 to come close to those kinds of numbers. Even then you'd need real good conditions. I think saying most run low 4s with ease is a little misleading lol.

We have done some of these ESS kits and they fit very well and make good power.

Yeah ken from HPR said it's best to replace the oil pump housing. I haven't looked into the cost but it seems like it's worth it
