Angus is by no means underrated. His brother was. Malcom was the driving rhythm force and leader of this band. RIP Malcom.

When they were composing the guitar solos, Malcolm often showed Angus what he should do. Malcolm was the brains behind the structure of the songs. It’s not just mindless shredding, every note is there by design and blends 100% perfectly with the rhythm section. Listen to Malcolm underneath the solo back and forth with some good headphones and you’ll hear how well it meshes together. It sorta layers and makes the song breathe and be alive, best way I know how to put it. I’ve been analyzing their music for years, you can find a new layer to it just about every time.

Possibly the greatest 'radio' song they ever wrote, and I remember its first play on the BBC's 'live music' program Top Of The Pops program and one of the worst mimed songs ever. - But it was still Brilliant🙂

@@thenortherner3890 a lot of bands seemed to delight in taking the piss while miming on TOTP. I've seen a few (think AC/DC was one) where the vocalist for example would overreact, mug for the camera and aggressively roll their eyes during a "performance".

Brian is not trying to sound like Bon! Listen to the old stuff from Brian and his Band (called Geordie). Years before Brian joined AC/DC, he was singing in his own unique style. And he was picked out of a lot of other singers, who really were trying to sound like Bon.
      Greetings from Germany✌🏼

@@mazzl412 Mark Storace from Krokus was who AC/DC wanted but Mark turned it down because his band Krokus was just starting to take off and he decided to stay.

Such a great song to review. You need to listen to one of favorites called What’s Next To The Moon. RIP Bon!

Theres a version of an acdc song called "rocker" somewhere on UA-cam where its a live concert in music video form.. Where angus is so hyped up and lit he had to take a break to go side stage and put an oxygen mask on for a minute and catch his breath.. then go back to playing... To say hes a bundle of energy is a massive understatement lol.

The drums are very underrated in this song also. Phil Rudd did a fantastic job on this song

I saw them a few times but the time that sticks out is the Who Made Who album... me and a buddy fought our way to the front right in front of the speakers.... Whoooo it was loud!!!!! I promise I couldn't hear for 3 days and is probably why I have a constant ringing in my ears to this day..... Great Memories!!!

Great reaction! To really see one of the best live performances with Bon, Let there be Rock, live in Glasgow 1978, is an unbelievably great performance. You can experience Angus, literally going off, and giving his all. Really one of the best live performances I have ever seen.

You know they did backing vocals on their early albums like that and I love it, you also had the first Def Leppard album doing that, and then you had Van Halen on their debut album doing it a fair amount.
Guys, I saw dim on this tour at a fairly small arena in Wichita kansas, and it was one of the most memorable shows of my lifetime.
They were the opening act for cheap trick which by the way you should check them out if you have not. It's way too long of a story to go into of all the stuff that I experienced at that concert in that small arena, but I will say that it was so incredible. Absolutely incredible
And the funny thing is, then Bon Scott died and they debated heavily over whether to even continue and then they got Brian and came back with a vengeance with back in black. And the funny thing is I saw them like a year and a half later on that tour. Because I couldn't believe they'd come back from the dead which is by the way why they call it back in black, they were coming back from Bon Scott's death, but anyway, they came through a bit later and they had released this album and guess what? Now Cheap Trick was opening for them.

ACDC changed my life. Angus is the reason I picked up a guitar. I'm not great. I can also play bass, much better. I can write a song and sing. That is my strength. Beatles, Led Zep and ACDC are real influences. Live Wire is my guitar influence. Check out that song live in Paris from 77.

You can also tell an AC/DC song is coming on, you can hear Angus’ 🎸 coming on! Angus in his school boy uniform and the moves he can do while he plays so insanely!🔥🔥 It is so crazy to watch him play! They have such rockin’ songs!!🔥🔥
    Glad you are enjoying them!👍👍👏👏
