When they were composing the guitar solos, Malcolm often showed Angus what he should do. Malcolm was the brains behind the structure of the songs. It’s not just mindless shredding, every note is there by design and blends 100% perfectly with the rhythm section. Listen to Malcolm underneath the solo back and forth with some good headphones and you’ll hear how well it meshes together. It sorta layers and makes the song breathe and be alive, best way I know how to put it. I’ve been analyzing their music for years, you can find a new layer to it just about every time.
Possibly the greatest 'radio' song they ever wrote, and I remember its first play on the BBC's 'live music' program Top Of The Pops program and one of the worst mimed songs ever. - But it was still Brilliant🙂

Hello people, I'm an old man from Germany, I saw them live for the first time when I was 16, and I've been a lifelong fan ever since. By the way, very interesting and sympathetic reactions, you're doing really well. My favorite ACDC song is, strangely enough, one that almost no one has I know, completely atypical, very gentle. but I love it because of Angus's guitar playing. "Ride On" I'm not a patron, but maybe you'll listen in. Greetings
I totally agree fella. Ride On is my favourite song of all time. Of any band. Good to hear how much Bon n the lads influenced Europe. They worked damn hard around the world from the beginning. Starting in Oz, where they honed their sound. RIP Bon n Mal
On 4th November 1980, I took my new girlfriend to see AC/DC on the Highway to Hell Tour at Hammersmith Odeon. 44 years later we have two kids and three grandchildren...and my ears are still ringing to this day :)
My entire Junior year I hung out with my best friend nearly every day after school, and he had the Highway to Hell cassette playing in his car every. single. day... and I still love the whole album. Another friend worked at a recording studio in my hometown and AC/DC chose our city to start their tour in, so they rented out his studio for a week to practice and he had to help them out while they were there... this is a guy who played in local bands most of his life and he said he never heard anyone play his guitar as loud as Angus, and that he learned things about micing guitars from Angus.
Honestly You''ve only scratched the surface of AC/DC , once you start doing deep cuts from both singers , it's evident which one was better. ❤ This song 🤟😎🤟
there's a video of ACDC doing the blues classic "Babe please don't go" when they were very young and just starting out, it's a lot of fun and worth a view. Even back then. the band was very tight. It was on a talent show way back when. Luv you guys, keep doin what your doin
Don't get me wrong, Brian Johnson is good and a worthy replacement for Bon Scott, but honestly Bon had much more charisma than Brian does. He is the better one of the two.
Yes, not only more charisma, but a much better vocals. Brian's were good but only lasted from B in B through For Those About To Rock, then it was basically shot.
In terms of charisma i think is a tie, both have their own style and personality. But Bon was much better as a singer. I absolutely love both of them though.
I'm classically and jazz trained on guitar and piano with a masters from Georgia State. Really good school for music in the south. I say that...to say this...Angus is HIGHLY and HUGELY underrated as a guitar player. I'll never understand why! He's had GREAT solos for almost 50 years now lol!!! C'mon man!!! Great reaction as per usual guys! You never disappoint. Have a great weekend! 👏🤟🍻...GO BOSTON BRUINS!!!
I saw AC/DC on the Highway to Hell tour. I went to see the warmup band Molly Hatchet ( You should react to their monster hit Flirtin with Disaster among others). I was not familiar with AC DC s catalog but they were tremendous! It was about 6 months before Bon died (RIP Bon) and during one solo Angus got on Bon's shoulders and ran around the arena floor while he played! I also saw them with Brian on the For those about to Rock tour and they were tremendous then! Bon and Brian both were and are genuine ROCK STARS!
Angus was once asked in an interview what it felt like to be the best guitarist in the world, to which he answered, I’m not even the best guitarist in the band. RIP Malcolm Young

ACDC changed my life. Angus is the reason I picked up a guitar. I'm not great. I can also play bass, much better. I can write a song and sing. That is my strength. Beatles, Led Zep and ACDC are real influences. Live Wire is my guitar influence. Check out that song live in Paris from 77.
