Glad I decided to catch the this video I was looking for the link in the last video. Thanks and I know you don't want to be a plasma cutting channel but updates now and again would be nice.
I’ve actually re-implemented the silicone, now that everything is dialed in, but I don’t fold it down over the nozzle. It helps, a little, and doesn’t seem to catch on fire. I’ll do another video soon. Trying to get inspired…
I saw that coming, too much heat there. Keep up the videos on the plasma table and torch. Too much ra ra on the other posters, Good for everyone including the seller to get some negative feedback, that's how improvements happen. I first saw a friend post about the arcdroid and was interested in it but the Langmuir looks to have more capability for similar price. The trace function on the arcdroid is interesting, but cut capacity is less. You have a good channels, keep it up.
Thanks man! Believe it or not, now that I’ve sorted out all my other issues, the silicone funnels actually work. You just have to keep them up a little higher, and it keeps some of the splash back off of your Z-axis lead screw. I’ll be back with a new video on this thing soon, and I’ll address this, then.
It’s STEEP Ron…brand new plasma cutter just died with about 20 minutes of total run time on it, too. I tell you what, if there’s a bad part made, I’m the guy who’s going to get it. 😂 Time for a beer! 🍻🤘🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It’s hard to say, @@memogutierrezjr6394. The latest version of Langmuir’s software is more demanding than the previous versions. And Windows 11, which all the new laptops have, needs a lot of computer just to run the OS. I’d say you want 2GHZ minimum processor speed and 8GB minimum ram. The cheapest computer I could find that checked those boxes was a $450 Dell Inspiron. You might get by with less, but there are sooooo many variables, you’d make your life easier by buying a little bit better computer right out of the gate. Also, the design software definitely needs something better than a $200 Amazon special, so if you’re going to use the computer to design, too, you definitely need something pretty decent.
I sort of thought that silicone was not the right material for the job, but definitely worth a try. Hope you have received your new parts by now??… Waiting for next instalment of your series, can’t wait 😮😅😊 Keep up the videos please, a great help to us that haven’t purchased yet!!😬
Thanks Kevin, Yeah, I have to get back on it. There’s a lot to tell. Bottom line is, I finally have it working, but it was a heck of a journey to get there. I’ll try to drop a new video soon!
Honestly, I’m having nothing but trouble. There is so much they don’t tell you in the setup guides, and I’ve wasted a ton of material AND consumables up to this point, and now my brand new plasma cutter just randomly died. The company is sending me a new one, but what a process this has been. Not for the faint of heart…
Hey Casey. Love your stuff. I sent you a direct message over at Vintage Mustang Forum about a month ago, as I could not find a direct e-mail to you. Do you mind checking it out, when you have a minute?

What type of laptop do we need for it? Will a $200 dollar Amazon special do it?

Where did you go
I fell off the Earth. But I just posted a new video today. 😊
Thanks. I’m gathering parts for a 29 roadster. Where did you find the dimensions so that you could layout your subframe?
On the Internet, @@jimkirk4742. Are you on the HAMB? I have them posted there. Otherwise, send me your email address and I can email them to you.
Anyone know of a better solution?
Bueller…
Oups.. 😇
😂😂😂
Too bad that they suck, but looks like your table is alive and kicking!

Not sure why I never got a notification for this message. I will go have a look. Hopefully I can remember my log-in. 😊
