As someone who built a supercharged 5.7, he's wrong about Hellcat injectors giving too much fuel, Magnuson SC's for the 5.7 come with HC injectors. How much fuel you're getting is based on the tune. And I can tell ya now, he's not getting 550 rwhp with the stock fuel pump and injectors. Then saying he's using a ram air tune that was hidden on a diablo, for a supercharged motor, is just plain idiocy. Also said he changed his injectors, then later says they are stock. This guy is full of it and giving bad information. Ten bucks says he paid someone to do it and had no clue what actually went into it, or he bought it that way.
I think it’s a low boost build and that he just wanted a hellcat conversion. I doubt the 550rwhp. I don’t think he’s ever Dyno the car. It’s still an incredible build.
@@spud369 Yeah looked like a nice car, and well done, just don't see why guys have to lie or embellish on the truth. Sorry, wasn't trying to troll your video or your guest, just wanted to call out the factual errors in case someone wanted info for their own build.

Could have gotten the same horsepower or more with an Edlebrock E-Force supercharger kit, increase boost from 6 to 8 lbs and dyno and save a few bucks. I did on a 2014 5.7 and it will easily run 7.50's in the 1/8 mile with 100 octane.
@@SRT_DREyes the blower is cheaper but all the shit you need to install will cost way more. While the supercharger kit comes with almost everything you need
@@SRT_DRE the HC SC alone is cheaper, but you need adapter kit, SRT fuel pump, pulley conversion, new injectors, intercooler, heat exchanger and then custom fit wire harness etc. all said and done you’ll be $10k then the tune depending who/where is easy $700-$1200. E-Force kit is $7k-$9k as a bolt on kit with tuner. Then add $700-$1200 for custom tune. No it’s not a Mopar part but the Eforce is a maxed out manifold swap with a couple off extra add ons. Whereas the HC conversion is a fabricating endeavor.
Hate to tell you but old Skeeter is full of shit, lol. There's no way he's making that power with basically a stock 5.7 block, "hidden high ram tune," stock injectors and stock pump. If you run into him again I bet that motor has a nice window in the block.
@@spud369 The car would literally lean out at the slightest acceleration with a high ram tune, stock injectors and a stock pump. That's not doable as the injectors wouldn't even be scaled right. Also, staying out of boost with a twin screw twin supercharger is nearly impossible. They produce boost all the time and it's instant as the car accelerates, so unless he drives around under 20 mph that wouldn't possible. @@usnaron1 so a naturally aspirated car operates under vacuum and supercharged car does create boost somewhat instantly but your car is still operating under vacuum for a while.
