(No clue if they gave him morphine, or dilaudid, or whatever, the reason IV opioids and opiates are allowed for use in hospitals and heroin is specifically banned is because it's too strong and has dangerous side effects)

Been in and out of every garbage state funded program to the point I know every dirtbag there everytime I go back and can't escape the toxicity.. Been to AA and NA had multiple years clean and can't stop relapsing. Lost my girlfriend, best friends, and family to this devil drug. Been back on it for over a year now and I just about lost everything. Watching this kills me because I'm at the point where I can't even get this high anymore without doing enough to kill a damn elephant. The struggle is real. I stay watching your recent content to give me inspiration. I pray every night. God bless.

I've actually been clean for almost a year now. I finally had enough of wanting to die and decided to live. Actively learning to love myself more and more everyday sober rather than just going with the flow this time. I just wanna thank you for everything seriously man. There is truly a darkness to Baltimore that even Edgar Allen Poe felt in his opium and absinthe addictions. You're clean now and not a statistic so keep going! i find this very hard to watch as a addict myself who has not used drugs myself in over 3 years but i am still on medication that i have tapered down from a high dose to a low dose and it is getting close to full detox time soon and i am shitting bricks .good luck novak you can do this
+Robert Munro Don think too much about it mate- you will scare yourself daft. get an inpatient bed if possible for coming off. If it is meth you are coming off, then you will be offered lofexidine for a week or so after your last meth dose - take the lofexidine, it DOES take the edge off (its NOT an opiate, just reduces production of a certain neurotransmitter, you CANT get addicted to it). stay clear of any dickheads in the detox unit who are using on the sly (in fact, fucking grass them up to the staff - its your life and recovery they are fucking with). Be strong,take the rattle by day as it comes at you - dont build the fear up in your head, I guarantee it will NOT be as bad as your nightmares of it. Hot deep baths will help when it gets real bad, that little bit of relief the bath gives you will help you nod off and get a few hours sleep. There is a cream called "deep heat", it fucking stinks, but rub it around your joints when they ache bad - it will "burn" the pain away, again, just enough to help you drop off to sleep. good luck pal
+Robert Munro Look up how to make liposomal vitamin C. Also start taking selenium, calcium and magnesium. Start the mag first, write down when you take it and how much, increase until you get gassy or the shits, then back down off of that dose. That's your maximum daily dose and it'll keep your muscles from hurting. Liposomal vit. C is critical. Your body NEEDS this. google or youtube for info on making it. Take that also until you get gassy or get the runs, then back off of that dose to get your max daily dosing. I take ~16-24grams of vitamin C daily in the liposomal form. It's reducing the effects of severe chronic heavy metal poisoning that has fucked me up so bad I can't believe what its done to my life.
However bad this may sound, this is refreshing for me to see. A reminder of how deadly the disease is, and how imperative it is to embrace the fellowships. Get your daily medicine people, go to the meetings, immerse yourself in it. Because that is the only solution! Nobody wants to be like this. God blesss you Novak! Keep coming back. My ex boyfriend is on herion, I didn't no he was on it until he's mum told me, for 4 years I with with him, and she told me last year, I had taken him to the hospital many times to get sorted plus overdose a few times, it was breaking my heart still to this day now , I did not know about he's addicted to the stuff, he hid it very well from me , so I left him and it really broke my heart and still does to this day,it's been a year not seeing him, but all I know is I love him and still in love with him, such a shame to loss the one you fall in love with to this stuff, I pray he gets better , may be one day we will met up again when he's clean and sorted he's life out, I do hang on to that in my heart, God bless you all, I would also like to write a book on drugs how's it kills the family's people ,people you love ,etc,,, ❤️🙏🏻❤️

@Logic I wouldn't say most of us want to get high. Its just a fucking nigtmare when you are dopesick you'll make everything to rid of that horrible pain literally. So the fear of withdrawal and pain is why people live like this.

How deeply he was into this battle and pulled out is inspiring. Your story is as well. Keep this in mind when ever ur demons try to contact u. I have two children. They are my inspiration to stay sober. I don't want to miss their life wasted drunk all the time. I'm not a mean drunk or unfunctionable but I forget parts of the day and feel I can't do anything without getting drunk first and I'm noticing it's a real problem now. Day 2. These videos help. Ikr... I did heroin 19 years only 6 months was sniffing the rest was the needle. Once I did that.... I'm like whoa, but then that went away in a short time... Then u just use to function, might get a rush here and there but nothing major, and it goes away quick

If it is meth you are coming off, then you will be offered lofexidine for a week or so after your last meth dose - take the lofexidine, it DOES take the edge off (its NOT an opiate, just reduces production of a certain neurotransmitter, you CANT get addicted to it). stay clear of any dickheads in the detox unit who are using on the sly (in fact, fucking grass them up to the staff - its your life and recovery they are fucking with). Be strong,take the rattle by day as it comes at you - dont build the fear up in your head, I guarantee it will NOT be as bad as your nightmares of it. Hot deep baths will help when it gets real bad, that little bit of relief the bath gives you will help you nod off and get a few hours sleep. There is a cream called "deep heat", it fucking stinks, but rub it around your joints when they ache bad - it will "burn" the pain away, again, just enough to help you drop off to sleep.

+Robert Munro Look up how to make liposomal vitamin C. Also start taking selenium, calcium and magnesium. Start the mag first, write down when you take it and how much, increase until you get gassy or the shits, then back down off of that dose. That's your maximum daily dose and it'll keep your muscles from hurting. Liposomal vit. C is critical. Your body NEEDS this. google or youtube for info on making it. Take that also until you get gassy or get the runs, then back off of that dose to get your max daily dosing. I take ~16-24grams of vitamin C daily in the liposomal form. It's reducing the effects of severe chronic heavy metal poisoning that has fucked me up so bad I can't believe what its done to my life.

My ex boyfriend is on herion, I didn't no he was on it until he's mum told me, for 4 years I with with him, and she told me last year, I had taken him to the hospital many times to get sorted plus overdose a few times, it was breaking my heart still to this day now ,
I did not know about he's addicted to the stuff, he hid it very well from me , so I left him and it really broke my heart and still does to this day,it's been a year not seeing him, but all I know is I love him and still in love with him, such a shame to loss the one you fall in love with to this stuff, I pray he gets better , may be one day we will met up again when he's clean and sorted he's life out, I do hang on to that in my heart, God bless you all, I would also like to write a book on drugs how's it kills the family's people ,people you love ,etc,,, ❤️🙏🏻❤️

@Logic I wouldn't say most of us want to get high. Its just a fucking nigtmare when you are dopesick you'll make everything to rid of that horrible pain literally. So the fear of withdrawal and pain is why people live like this.
@Terry Waller glad I never tried drugs like this. Im a binge drinker and this video is just one I'm watching to help me stay sober. His addition speech was amazing. How deeply he was into this battle and pulled out is inspiring. Your story is as well. Keep this in mind when ever ur demons try to contact u. I have two children. They are my inspiration to stay sober. I don't want to miss their life wasted drunk all the time. I'm not a mean drunk or unfunctionable but I forget parts of the day and feel I can't do anything without getting drunk first and I'm noticing it's a real problem now. Day 2. These videos help. As he says addiction only brings u to 3 places. Rehab jail or death.
@@giorgibe1378 lol it's a mixed bag honestly. There can be underlying issues, peer pressure, the WANT to get high, boredom, stress relief etc etc. I didn't get high to avoid being dopesick. I loved the feeling. The escape. It was a nice temporary vacation until the next trip to nodville to get outta my head. I would say MOST people DONT get high to avoid being dope sick. Lol. That sounds like non sense tbh. Some do, but to say most is dumb af. I have been to rehab multiple times, OD'd quite a few times, had a poly substance addiction for years, heroin was my drug of choice. In my times going to meetings and being in rehab and relapsing and everything.... I have heard a handful of people use not wanting to be dope sick as a reason to keep using lol. Thats it. Out of hundreds of different people I met a long the way.

Do NOT give up! I tapered off methadone, it was hell! Get through the worst And cut that fucking ball and chain! If I knew now what I did then I would have never resorted to a drug like it.

Ikr... I did heroin 19 years only 6 months was sniffing the rest was the needle. Once I did that.... I'm like whoa, but then that went away in a short time... Then u just use to function, might get a rush here and there but nothing major, and it goes away quick
@@jasonchristian958 only ever sniffed and once your addicted the high is never the same you need 2 day breaks to feel it but if your using everyday your just using to not be sick

Yes it's a whole new world when you shoot, different high too, but like I said how ever you do it eventually nothing is enough... Your habit grows quick, then you're just using to feel ok, and not sick.. The last 9 months of my addiction I started shooting straight fentanyl, I od 5 times of that stuff... That's a wicked high.
