    fuck the way he looked up when the dude said 'pharmacy' sent chills down my spine as a recovering addict. like it's a little thing but it really says something, that when you're using and using as heavily as Brandon was, your existence is literally nothing but drugs. wake up, figure out how you're gonna get high, scrape up some money, go get the dope and hope it's gonna be legit and hope it'll be enough to get you through the hour-day-whatever, then you wake up the next day, realize you're out of dope and your spikes are too dull to use, and your'e back at it again until you overdose, or the people who care about you find out and send you to rehab, or your ass gets cuffed and put in the cop car and you're in jail. it's all the same. the same thing over and over again, until that lightbulb clicks on in your head from whatever makes you see the light. best of luck Novak hope you're doing well man.

      This is after he broke his leg you fool, in 2014 his life definitely wasn't that, he had been sober long before that. Do your research but yeah it's definitely no way to live, but as long as you have your drug of choice (especially if it's alcohol or heroin) then you just stay numb to it all/numb to your life and world falling apart in front of you.

    • @mongogojjo5944

      Yeah that was his life for awhile but around this time definitely not lol his relapse here was literally just him getting prescribed opioids for his broken foot

    I fucking love you, Novak. One of my greatest inspirations and influences of all time... Now I've grown up as well. Now I'm also a heroin addict. Now I'm also homeless with nothing to show but what I've already lost.
    What I do have though is the inspiration you have further instilled in me once again - this time with your recovery and your attitude towards it.
    It's scary to see how much this looks exactly like me... How familiar this looks. I can fucking FEEL the nod while watching you lmao

    I was this way once, after the death of three friends (including my best friend) and my cousin. Talking shit doesn't help people who self-medicate, as most have severe mental health problems that are not being properly treated in the first place. It makes me really sad when people shame addicts and the mentally ill. It's sickening. I wouldn't wish this level of agony on my worst enemy.

    • @672sara
      @672sara 6 років тому +1

      KVLT SH1T drugs are a choice whether your mentally ill or not .. You choose to buy and do drugs ... that is a decision you make being mentally ill does not make you a drug addict it may make you nore inclined to use but they do not always go together being mentally ill is not a choice

Gotta say, it makes me happy to see most of this thread aside from one reply is aware of how shitty people look who shame those suffering with addiction, sometimes that’s all I see on comment sections of videos like this. Reminds me no matter how much it seems like it at times, not everyone is a judgmental cunt vomiting useless hate from their high horses... Lol

      @@672sara you are completely ignorant to modern human psychology and addiction and how modern science shows how addiction presents itself and seeds itself.
      Being an addict is so very complicated. The drugs are a temporary solution to a personal problem. I hope every addict the best of luck in taking back their life.
      You deserve to be in control rather than that fuckin monster living living in your head.
      Addiction is one of the saddest and most tragic afflictions to be put onto the human race. It is so very complicated and absolutely horrifying. I hope everyone tries to show support to any addicts they know in real life. And my fellow junks out there, there is a way out, you just have to want to get out.

He is actually one of the most deadliest, solid dudes out there and I've tried so hard to get him sober but he's in a rut and is homeless at the moment. I started with three 8mg. I feel trapped because I have legit injuries from being a paratrooper in the ARMY. Physical injuries plus addiction is the sharpest of the double edged sword. I am grateful for suboxone it made it so I have control back in life and I'm not a mess drooling on myself or afraid everday if I cant score some pills. God bless everyone and never give up.

    Let me make this clear. It is FAR better to be depressed and struggle with your demons and work it out yourself than to "self medicate". Self medication hides the problem, it doesn't fix shit. I self medicated with alcohol for a bit. It never got too out of hand though. But after two FULL years of depression and by the time I was really starting to lose hope I'm 80% better. I fought the good fight. It isn't easy and may take a long time but going inwards is the only way to really fix anything.

    Doctors these days disgust me. They have pain pills that will block out that 'high' feeling but refuse to use it on the grounds 'the pills are a little more expensive'. What we are seeing here in a perfect example of what the current main line pain killer does to someone. Good to see he still has the fight to throw that dud lighter :)

      Aaron MLG lol really!? Suboxone&methadone are just as bad? Lmfao!!!! Ya for you kids just just juggle H, pills, subs,dones back and forth then ya sure you can lump it all together because the Addicts that don't wanna get clean just simply keep using, but the cats that use suboxone, subutex and methadone to stop using H then ween off subs completely it's a life saver! But it's like anything in life you can lead a horse to water... But if an addict ain't ready then they won't quit they'll just trade one for another over and over again. It's a case by case person by person thing

    • @bracoop2
      @bracoop2 6 років тому +3

      Suboxone is just as bad. It’s true you don’t get high on it, but when you stop taking it, the withdrawals are a hundred times worse than heroin.

    • @bracoop2
      @bracoop2 6 років тому +1

      onlysmoketobacc ;) dude I know right... I was on methadone for a few years and tried to quit but switched to subs like 8 years ago and it sucked ass. With sub I’ll taper to the smallest possible amount and when I jump off to nothing it’s even worse than methadone withdrawal. Id rather take the 7 days of hell from heroin and oxy than do these fucking maintenance drugs.

    Man that's sad, at the end of the vid you can see where blood ran down his right arm and was all over his hand. Don't know if it was from shooting or IV but still disturbing none the less. I know he's clean now and hope he stays that way, if not show him this.

    novak im cut from the same cloth even how you think, talk and analyze seems similar to myself im in my early 20's but you are smart and do know addiction explain what it's like better then any doctor life is just a slow self destructive horror movie where your choices at this moment influence your future almost completely and you can only escape by dreaming hoping this time you wont wake back up in reality, i love you just remain truthful to yourself and don't lie take care
